The view point is beautiful. But there is no enough place to park ur vehicle and sit and absorb the beauty of the view. There are no barricades as well. Just need to be cautious while taking kids.
Good atmosphere, fresh air can be really refreshing
Beautiful and serene...
A great view, greenary, mountains, , there are several advantages of this view like no tickets , it's free of charge, it's on the way ,or at the road side .there is space for the view and small parking lot . You can get great pictures of you and your loved ones , as per the season and climate change you will be able to feel the same place and view very differently each time you visit like in rainy season there will be several water falls, more greenary ,fog, cloudy , very cool, etc in summer or winnter days it will be dry, windy , good winds, etc those are good drivers here you can show your skills there are hair pin through out your drive.while you are traveling through this way never hesitate to stop your car
Some were scenic views are hidden by chapels that's the problem
Superb view of valley and hills. Enjoyed.
One among the best beautiful place in the district. The area is very eco-friendly and stays very close to nature, Un-polluted & well maintained . The eyesight here brings a very unconditional feel to our both eyes & ear . I loved this place . We visited this place through Coimbatore & the memories which this heavenly place gave to us is nostalgic . I would definitely choose to visit here again .
Siruvani dam is a dam in Palakkad District, Kerala located 46 km away from Palakkad town. This dam constructed across the Siruvani River, is for supplying drinking water to the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The dam is surrounded by reserve forests. Muthikulam hill is situated on the eastern side of the dam. There is a natural waterfall in the hill. The waterfalls and the Dam are big tourist attractions. The famous 150-year-old Pattiyar Bungalow is on the banks of the Siruvani Reservoir. An agreement was executed in August 1973 between the state Governments for drinking water supply to Coimbatore town and neighbouring areas from the Siruvani Dam. The location being in the state of Kerala, the project was executed by the Kerala Public Works Department using the funds made available by the Tamil Nadu Government.[1][2][3]
