Water was no flowing so not so clean, proper maintenance is required. Thought of taking a dip but water was not so good so didn't had a dip. Otherwise Aarti was good to watch, they are maintaining the ritual properly, after sunset it will start, eye feast to watch it.
Water should be cleaned up and used to clean river side areas . Other places are good near to Shilpa river .
This place is called Ram Ghat. Here also everyday in the evening around 7pm aarti is done. The people gather here in the aarti, aarti is done to provide their gratitude for the river. Nice place to spend your early evening in Ujjain. Here you can attend the aarti & then you can move for Mahakaleshwar darshan & Mahalok Corridor visit. One of the must go place in Ujjain itinerary.
Maa Shipra is in worse position , sewage water adds in it. We visited Ram Ghat to take spiritual bath in river as it's a ritual in Hindu Dharm. But we came back with
Shipra river is a divine river in which you have to take a dip before visiting mahakaleshwar . You can walk in and have a dip in river , there are police personnel to look after people not to go deep in water. Changing room on ghat is available only a small cabin.
Very peaceful, we can feed small fishes there and attend evening aarti. It's the same ghaat where they arrange many programs too! Great place to visit with family and friends. You can spend your evening here in peace
