A wonderful, calm and serene place to hang out. You can capture the entire city's landscape from the top. It is a good picnic spot and a great spot for sight-seeing.
Sikhar Chandi Temple is located on top of a hill in the Patia area within the city of Bhubaneswar. Maa Shikharchandi is worshipped in a temple on this hill. It is said to be associated with the Yogini culture. Interestingly, the regular Pujak of the Sikharchandi is a non-Brahmin, who comes daily from a nearby village down the hill and leaves the temple by evening. It appears to be contemporaneous with the Chausathi Yogini temple of Hirapur. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the city from the temple premises, especially after the sunset provides a pleasant sight to the viewers. Best place to visit...it comes before the kiit square. This place has unique views from the top of the hill.. a must visiting place
Decent place, good for weekends..if you want to have a walk towards the mandir which is at the top of the hill. The view from the mandir is great!
So much greenery. At the top, there is maa Chandi temple. Also here is a picnic spot. The view from here is awesome. Go with family or friends, you can enjoy it too much. No dangerous animals are there, only monkeys are seen by me. They are not dangerous. Don't through any garbage here .
The hill area is good but some people are going there foe drinks and smoking that's why the image of this hill is low. They are doing alcohol and breaks the bottle there. Government should look at these. And cleanliness is the concern.
