This place comes at 7th Mile in Kalimpong before bus stand. Apart from its strategic location, its a treat to be with Mr. Pema Sherpa, owner of the homestay. Excellent food and hospitality. This is my 4th visit and I always choose to stay here.
Excellent views with spacious room.2 rooms available with a common drawing, dining cum kitchen. You can cook with gas charge 300 rupees. Rooms & food costs are quite high. View is breathtaking.
One of the best places in Kalimpong for luxurious yet on a budget kinda stay. Hospitality feels very welcoming, maybe cause of the friendliness of the staffs. Food is kinda okay nothing fancy. The view from the hotel feels pretty amazing with no obstructions whatsoever (i.e. the rear side) Not so far away from the heart of town so that's good l guess for people who wanna check out the places around. Suitable for families with kids, and also for women get together's and small parties. All in all 7/10.. Help keep the area clean. Enjoy your stay!
Located bang on the highway, this homestay is run by a wonderful couple who have a dearth of knowledge about all the tourist places in and around Kalimpong. The food served here is just finger licking delicious. The hospitality extended by the elderly couple extends beyond what one would expect. Much better than staying at a hotel, this homestay like many in this region offers an insight into the life and culture of the people of this region. It's not value for money if you are going for cheap deals but worth a one time stay.
Comfortable, neat and clean tastefully appointed rooms with breathtaking view of the valley. The host Mr. Pema Sherpa is extremely helpful and knowledgable about the local tourist circuit. Enjoyed the food.
Warm ambience, hygienic, good food, lovely hosts and phones work The hosts had a fantastic Nepali cuisine at request. The owner is very amiable gentleman with loads of tales for the cozy evenings The place has a wide range of room options including self serviced rooms with kitchen for those who want to try out their own hand at new exotic recipes Of course you can get fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden And extremely happy and warm experience at the homestay that wants you to go back. Lovely mornings in the vicinity that encourages you to join the locals in fitness lifestyle. You should start of with walks and yes do not forget to capture fond memories Local attractions are the delo park with science museum for the children , beautiful gardens for the romantic and paragliding for the adventurous Well located for quick visits to Darjeeling and Sikkim Loads of places to explore around
The rooms are fine, the service is a bit bad, the price is relatively high, the view is stunning
9/10 That's how good this holiday Home is for BPCL employees. Good for overnight stay when traveling from Gangtok to Jalpaiguri
