Sherbaug A Theme Park & Resort - Resort hotel in Panchgani - Satara, India

Ambience: 1/5 Food: Didn't have the courage to try after looking at the condition of the place Service: 0/5 Sherbaug A Theme Park & Resort! So they claim to be a theme park and resort, but to be honest, it's a highly unmaintained place. They charged us 200 INR for the visit and gave us a band. We assumed it might meet our expectations, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The water was flowing from the stairs where you can walk barefoot, but it was covered in fungi and algae. We couldn't figure out how to walk barefoot in such water. We kept walking inside, hoping to see some birds as they had claimed, but there were hardly any. We only saw 2-3 hens and chickens. We continued walking with the hope of finding something enjoyable, and we got a bit excited when we saw the sign for the restaurant and cafe. However, everything was dirty and poorly maintained. We were unsure whether they even served food or not. Next, we were looking forward to enjoying the water park, but everything was shut. When we raised our concerns, an employee pressed a couple of switches, and for a few minutes, a song played and some water started flowing. However, it abruptly stopped. We had planned to stay at the resort for a day, but the place depicted in the pictures was far more beautiful than the reality. Everything was broken and poorly maintained, and we noticed that there was nobody else inside, which made us skeptical about the availability of room service as well. Overall, my 200 INR was completely wasted.

Property is decent. Stayed in the tent house. Pool/waterfall/rain dance is the major attraction to the place. Staff is friendly & helpful. Reason for 2 stars is only due to the food, which spoiled our experience and impacted the rest of our vacation. If the management can improve the food quality, it would be a better experience for those planning to stay at the property.

Most bul Sh11t resort ever.. the pathetic waterfall and the most dirty place.. When we requested for a refund to Mr.Ayaz they simply declined..we could hardly spent 15 mins. Even theres garbage near to a NAMAZ rooom .. how come they not care a prayer room ..how can a premises near a prayer room be dirty..

We did not have a good time there. They say its a theme park but its just a huge acre of green land. 2) The hotel room was smelling so bad literally the whole day we spent out and only back to the hotel at night to sleep. I had read reviews previously also regarding smelly rooms and when asked, the owner said it's because of the last occupant. 3) We booked the hotel thinking it had a water park theme but it is NOT, just a small area with water fall. Such a disappointment. 4) We stayed there for 2 days and there were no housekeeping people to clean the room. 5) Food also is tasteless. Charges are too much. 6) I cannot believe how people have given 5 stars to this dirty hotel. 5 stars are all fake. It is a very dirty smelly hotel which is built in 1980's.

Sherbaug is a beautiful resort enriched with nature's beauty - many new varieties of flowers I could see. It has tents, ac rooms, treehouse and delux rooms as well. You can enjoy bonfire and barbeque as well. The gardens, flowers, palm trees and waterfall are amazing. Stay in the tent house was a lovely experience, quite closer to nature. I couldn't stop clicking pics of beautiful cacti & flowers. The fossil collection is nice too.

Worst place ever. They take entry fee as 200 rs. Water fall is highly dirty. And property is not at all maintained. Worst ever. Don't go and waste your time and money. I wish I could give less than 1 star.

This is the third visit to Panchgani in last few years and i always stay one or two days at Sherbaug. Feel a special connect with this place Location, ambience is great, the waterfall is free for guests using tents or rooms for stay. Well maintained campus, great hospitality.

Shebaug is my absolute favorite place to stay whenever I find myself in Panchgani Mahabaleshwar. This theme park and resort offers a range of accommodation options, including tents, tree houses, and other types of rooms. Personally, I always opt for the tent house, as it is not only beautiful but also well maintained. The highlight of Shebaug for me is its remarkable forest-like ambiance. The sprawling garden is meticulously kept and boasts trees that are over 100 years old, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The botanical garden showcases a unique variety of trees, adding to the charm. While I would have given it a perfect 5-star rating, the food is a major disappointment, and that's why I'm rating it 4 stars. They also have a water park and theme park which I understand is a major attraction for visitors. Nevertheless, I keep coming back to Shebaug for its serene connection with nature, and it never fails to provide a memorable experience.
