Sheraton Grand Palace Indore - Hotel in Indore - Indore, India

Nothing like a 5 star hotel. A total disappointment in the name of Sheraton. Starting from entry - the rooms are way inside. The signs are not visible at night. No one to greet or take the luggage - leave apart holding the door. It looked deserted even at 10pm. When I requested for the luggage to be taken, the doorman told me to go to the reception to request for the luggage to be taken from the car. I was shocked! This is something that should have been taken care of at a 5 star property. Coming to amenities in the room - they were as per the standards of a 3 star hotel. No measures taken for sustainability. No night lights in the rooms. Had to call twice for every service request. The phone was never answered in one go. Not much options in late night menu. When requested for the food tray to be cleared from the room, no one came for over 30mins. Eventually, I kept the tray outside the room as it was post midnight. Inspite of keeping the tray outside, the room service man rang the room bell at 1:30am. Just can't understand when I had requested for just the tray to be cleared and had kept it outside why did he have to ring the room bell continuously. Morning staff was professional. The staff at breakfast was good & courteous. But, food was a disappointment. The Spa is good. Overall, a total disappointment for the money I paid for the stay and also in the name of the hotel group.

Everything about this hotel is impeccable. Service was Exceptional with every person, be it at the front desk, restaurant, bar etc, going above and beyond in ensuring guests have a a great stay. I hold Marriott platinum elite status and spend a considerable number of nights at Marriott properties every year. I can pretty easily count this as one of the best Marriott properties, that I would gladly choose to return to.

Palace is a beautiful place to stay. Their restraints have beautiful ambience with wide variety of food options available. Food was amazing. Compare to all other 5 star hotels they have tasty food

SHERATON GRAND PALACE in Indore from the Airport at first glance I was not much impressed about the city even though it was neat and was hearing from others that it's an award winning city as the cleanest maintained one on reaching the hotel as i was entering the gates i reacted to find a real PALACE like structure holy the big majestic domes with horses with chariots the imposing structure was very huge this is a very large place on the entrance this huge structure is a banquet hall for conferences it's on par with the best hotel's of this category and after crossing the banquet hall i came across another big structure were one more very huge banquet hall which can be converted into three smaller halls for marriage, reception's or function's very beautiful hall's just opposite is the main hotel the lobby with a bar 'n' restaurant on the side is very elegant and the reception area with a beautiful seating arrangement is regal and after checking in our Room it was quite big with nice bed and a bay window overlooking the pool it's a nice view outside with wooden flooring and basic furniture including a nice sofa and the bathroom is very clean and with nice fittings the whole setup was good and our stay was comfortable the breakfast served in the restaurant was lavish spread and very tasty and the restaurant was beautifully decorated and very posh after my visit here my veiw about Indore changed. I AM VERY IMPRESSED this place it's loaded and with rich folks see you soon bye !

It seems a little costly but it is worth every penny that you spend. A great infrastructure with responsive management. The staff is very professional and they really do care about you and give their 100% to make your stay unforgettable. Rooms are quite specious but the bathroom is little small. Talking about food, it's delicious but only veg dishes are served. Considering all other amenities and services, limited food options can easily be overlooked. But, they have delicious veg dishes. We never had to connect with the reception or help desk as everything was provided as we checked in. Overall a nice stay. Highly recommended..

Location wise it is situated outside of indore city. But i highly recommend this hotel to visit it. It's little bit expensive but worth it. I visit this hotel for one of my office party. This hotel is very beautiful & well maintained by the staff & they are very professional. Overall the management of this hotel is very good I like it. About the service they really care about you & give there best out of best to make your stay unforgettable. Talking about the food, this hotel is pure vegetarian & it's delicious. Beside of hotel building there is big banquet hall with a sharing garden landscape, it's greenery enhance the beauty of hotel & well maintained by responsive management.

We had gone for dinner at this property. The spread was veg and we had North Indian which was absolutely delicious. Not many options in salads. Desserts were not worth it. Nice experience though.

My Sheraton buffet dinner experience - They had 4 veg starters on the menu, but it felt like hunting for a unicorn to get the fourth one - asked a zillion times and nada! We practically finished a Lord of the Rings movie marathon waiting for it. Service? Snail-speed! The staff? Well, they were more into cricket on TV than serving, making us wonder if they thought we were part of a hidden camera show. I went full Liam Neeson on the manager for that elusive starter, but alas, no luck! It's been two days now, and I'm beginning to think that starter might have sprouted legs and run away! And the food? Let's just say the desserts looked like they'd been studying in the desert - dry as a bone! Ain't nobody want a Sahara on their sweets, am I right?
