Sher-E-Punjab Hotel - Punjabi restaurant in Siliguri - Jalpaiguri, India

Purchased two plate mutton biriyani and packed it for train. Could not able to eat as very bad smell was coming from the biriyani. They are cheat. Most probably they used very bad quality oil. Do not eat/ parcel from there. Not recommended at all.

Spacious, well-lit, tables spread out in standard format. Eye sore was the floor.The air-conditioning was pathetic. However the food was standard. The mutton Biriyani was very good indeed. However the waiters need to be more attentive.

Only good thing about this place is its ambience. The server was sloppy and confused. Most of the items in the menu were not available. The server messed up the starter by adding gravy in it even though we strictly ordered dry one. Malai Kofta was bland and horrible. The server messed up in the bill also. Most of the breads were also not available. Will not visit again.

I would like to give - ( minus reviews ) if that would be in preference. Plz never visit, ( Sher e Punjab ) this, restaurant, bar, also dont book any private hall service for this place, they running a big restaurant, hotel and say we don't have gazar, they dont allow us to sit in restaurant when they have Shutter open at 9 pm saying to shift in public bar restaurant where we are family tried to sit in family restaurant of there's , the waiter is very arrogant, not any service need to go and call the waiter again and again, also If I speak on particular drink they served us sprite an our order was fresh lime soda and when asked to the waiter he said it's fresh lime soda, actually the thing is the waiter is himself so much drunk, he keeps on asking the same question again and again on giving orders also.he doens't have any paper pad or can remember just keeps on aksing.this is 6th time I am facing the same consequences.now finally left over them and so would advise others plz don't visit them and waste your Money. Plz belive never book or think for this hotel Sher e Punjab..just they are in main road this doesn't mean they can do whatever. Thank you.

Went in for lunch. Half of the things were not available. Ordered chicken, we were offered fish in the guise of chicken. The food is horrendous. If you like nice posh looking places that'll serve you sub par food this is your place. Otherwise, roadside dhabas are better go to.

this reviews is for the bar cum restaurant and the restaurant the food is not at all good we order for the paneer butter masala in place of that, they serve us something very sweet and when we told them to replace that they where like ya asa he hota ha and the management was so rude that not the way they talk to the costumer as we always visit now i am dam sure we are not coming back so small massage that dont think costumer is chutya people know the real test of the food so better accept the mistake in place of the argument.

Good food. Pleasant service. Good North Indian cuisine at an accessible location.

This hotel is good for visitors and scituate very near of Siliguri Junction railway station, and Siliguri bus stand and share & other cab stand, from where you can go anywhere of north bengal and sikkim. Food quality and quantity both are good. As per food quality and restaurant brand name, price is reasonable. Restaurant have lots of seat and service is also good. Staffs behavior is good and you can pay your bill through UPI.
