Shelly Restaurant - North Indian restaurant in Kalka, Orian - Panchkula, India

I went here for a quick bite. Ordered the Idli and Veg Chowmine. Although the food tasted good, it was very overpriced. Never had such small idlis for 200 Rs. The ambiance and service is good.

I visited Shelly Restaurant in August 23 as I had to board on a train to Delhi. It's the best place you can spend your evening and can have tasty food. The place is very close to Kalka Railway station which connects toy train to Shimla and other parts of India especially. So, if you are nearby you can visit this place. We ordered Rahra Chicken(Half) and Naan + Rice which was enough for two people. Salad was perfect Staff was cooperative but looks like either they are getting less pay or were treated badly by owner as we witnessed an example when the owner was yelling at receptionist on a very tiny issue where dialogues could've been delivered with patience and politely in front of guest. I am not complaining about the behaviour of staff, as I mentioned, staff was cooperative. Overall, it was a really good experience for us. I hope you enjoy as well.

After searching for good food for 1 hour in Kalka , I accidentally found Shelly restaurant, ordered Paneer tikka for having as starter, and it was so yummy ...I will surely suggest anyone finding food nearby kalka railway station to visit Shelly restaurant. Food was awesome, ambience was nice.

We ordered malai chicken, tandori chicken and chicken biriyani.. Food was good and the quantity was much better.. Although it took some time to come, but it was busy so that's expected..We loved the service of Mr, Manoj Chauhan.. Request to manager to play some other songs also as we heard only one repeatedly in 1hour!! Thank you from Kolkata!!

The price is a bit on the upper end but food is okay. I tried butter chicken and naan and its was average. If u r boarding the train from kalka station and want decent place to sit n eat then can try this place. 800-1000 for two people.
