17th Century Fortress built on a hill overlooking the other surrounding Monuments like badal Mahal, many temples, Chattrasal Tomb, kamalapati Tomb etc. The Fortress has a basement also which is closed for tourists. Some section of the Fort is ruined. The entrance gate to the Fortress is very beautiful.
Shital Garhi - This double storied fortress, seing the Badal Mahal was built by Diwan Keerat Singh, son of Jagatraj (The second son of Maharaja Chhatrasal) on such an strategc altitude for the purpose of patrolling, security and surveillance, in 17th century. This famous monument exemplifies the rich Bundeli art. This fortress was built for residential purpose to escape the excessive heat in the peak of summer. Its interior is decorated with foliage patterns.
If you are planning a picnic with your family and loved ones then this is the place specially in monsoon and winters not recommended in summers, view from fort was just awesome...
