Shatrunjay Dam - Weir in Bhutiya, Nani Paniyali - Bhavnagar, India

The view is great though it's sad to see all the POP idols on the shore broken. You have to park the car outside and walk a short distance to the dam. We visited it in the afternoon while on the way to Palitana.

Its a place to enjoy the beauty of the horizon between water and the sky. This is the place where we can see dam, river, jungle, hills and everything at one stop just across the dam. Anyone can go anytime(not over the dam road without permission) to enjoy the sunset and horizon...

Set against towering mountains, this water dam is a haven of serenity. Its calm reservoir, nestled amidst the peaks, offers a picturesque escape. A sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts, where nature's beauty thrives. Also if you lucky then you see the wild animals.

A good place to visit during the monsoon.(5* rating for monsoon) Vehicles not allowed so have to walk from the main gate to the dam. The minimum distance is 700 meters so not suitable for older people. It's not developed as a tourist spot so don't expect much.

Best place to take visit with family.. easy to access. Vehicles are not allowed to go up have to walk and best to visit during sunset time to capture scenamatic ambience

A peaceful place to visit. Highly maintained roads and the damp. Since the damp is old, visitors are not allowed to go onto the damp. But, scenario is just amazing . One of the best place to visit for short riding near Bhavnagar, gujarat. Specially during the sunrise and sunset.
