One of my childhood nostalgic hotel ... Best paddu ... Shastri Hotel was started in Nehru colony near Deepayan school ..then moved around some places in and around nehru colony and mj nagar..and finally settled in main bazar. Started by Manju and his team They provide excellent food ..and their paddu and mirchi are outstanding. Red chutney is to die for . And rest all items are decent . Staff are friendly too .. During peak hours you might need to wait .

Famous spot for evening north Karnataka favourite snacks like churmuri, girmit, mirchi bhajji and many others snacks. Special item is badane kai(eggplant ) bhajji stuffed with special masala. Really different and yummy . Other items were good but nothing special.

Very yummy & Delicious food items, including "Vaggarne Mirchi", Paddu, Girr-mit, Soft Idly, Poori Saagu, Coffee/Tea,. Vaggarne Mirchi is very special & delicious food, they will prepare in Kotturu style,.

Shastri Hotel in Hosapete is a best landmark for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & Chats. Food made here is very delicious, & home made feel.. Try Vaggarne Mirchi here, it's special in Uttara Karnataka side.

Here I tried vagarni mirchi, ghee dosa, Gurmit and Idli sambar everything was delicious and the masala they use for preparing food are made by them and they even sell the masala items too. In Hotel they have full displayed the freedom fighters photo and wall full of kannada novels. I was humble to be here hope u all will try to visit this place and have the delicious food

Good vegetarian fast food centre. There is no seating available, just tables to stand and have food.. The restaurant has a lot of Kannada writings and information on history

Good Hotel, taste is okay not bad but for kannada lovers it is Heaven
