Also known as kajha kothi. Was started as a picnic spot by the then DM Mr Sharma. People come here for picnic in winter. Ticket for entry was Rs 10 on 1st January but the place is ill maintained. Can be developed in a good picnic spot.
This park is famously known as KAJHA KOTHI. I used to visit this park since childhood. This was the only park in Purnia. The main attraction of it was the huge pond. The park was renovated in 2010 and we were happy but during lockdown, this park had no maintenance and now it's a waste. The lights and iron gates and railings have been damaged and stolen. This park has lost its glory.
No cleanliness Not well maintained Earlier here people used to do boating. But now no boat is there. Water in the pond also very stagnant so looks dirty. All the swing has been broken down. But there is one thing left that is peacefulness and greenery. So one can easily go and do picnic with their family whole day.
It is only place where you can visit for picnic under 10 km. And I say it is awesome. There is lots of thing that will amaze you.
Good place to get peace.... Cleaning is a big thing in here... Otherwise superb green trees and plants are here...
