A beautiful temple situated on the top of the hill (like every other Matarani's Temples, as the name suggests - Pahadon wali MAA). You'll have to travel some 20kms outside Jabalpur towards Mandla Road, after crossing the Barela, you'll find a way to reach the top of Sharda Mata Temple. Purchase Pooja Samagri from down itself as there is no shop on the top. You can feel the positive vibes and Freshness &peace in the air. The View from the Hill makes it a surreal experience that everyone should encounter at least once.
Road is bad ,only motorcycles and cars can go,its a one way and very narrow risky road. otherwise temple premises is good Not allowed to go inside the temple ,channel gate is locked from last 3-4 years

Beautiful city view from hill but problem with steep slope also small pits(gadhe) on roads which need repair now But coming to sharda mata felt like homecoming

Amazing temple build on top of hill. Entrance to the hill is right from the highway. Road to the temple is nice however very steep and advised only for one vehicle at a time. Temple is more than 50years old. Clean and well maintained. Parking available.

Maa sharda temple located at top of Barela hill. One of the most beautiful spots for spending family time. The temple is very well maintained its clean and the divine ambience adds to it. Mostly it's very less crowded which is huge plus point. If you are visiting Jabalpur or Barela do visit the Sharda Mata Temple. You will surely love it
