It's really an amazing place. The best time to visit is around the end of / after monsoon. Good hospitality and rooms are really clean! The folks who manage the place are also friendly. Must visit if you want to just stay away from your city life for a day.
The view from the cottages is terrific as the resort is located right in front of a beautiful lake. The amenities especially the water sports and jeep ride to view points were good. Vegetarian food can be improved. The staff were very courteous. The room was clean and well maintained. Overall the stay was relaxing and worth the price.
Great view and must visit place with family and especially with young kids. Hospitality by KA forest staff is commendable and on par with private resorts. The water is finest. If you love fresh water swimming, this is the best place to go. But mind that this resort be difficult for people with restricted mobility as the rooms are elevated from entrance and takes descent number of steps. Improvements: None!
Rooms have excellent views from the huge balcony. Food was average compared to other JLR lodges. The water sports activities are exceptional and all money is worth of that. Yes, it is included in the package. They give a motor boat trip of the whole reservoir.
We have been visiting Jungle Lodges resorts/camps for the last 12 years and are happy to see that the service levels have been very consistent. The service is excellent, the water sports is really fun. Need to mention the nature walk, the naturalists are too good and informative. We learnt so much or let me put otherway, we realised we knew so little about nature. However, there is scope to improve on the food menu and taste at Sharavati adventure camp com. Don't get me wrong while the food wasn't bad, it wasn't up to par with other JLR facilities. Please do note, unlike other JLR properties, there is no safari or forest vist. Even boat ride is for 20 minutes only, but there are lot of water sports one can do.
Water activities are good. Food is good. Services are best Rooms are awesome. Location is excellent. The morning trip to jog falls was the best.
Beautiful room view, quiet & nice location, kids friendly, It takes you near nature where you can enjoy peace as well as family time and me time.
The cottages were wonderful. Beautiful views from the balcony, good food, fun activities (we especially liked the boat ride and the documentary), kid and family friendly. A monsoon visit allowed us a different perspective of the ghats and a successful view of Jog falls.

It's a beautiful homestay. The owner is very cooperative. But the best part is the food which is absolutely fantastic and surpasses everything else. I've never had such amazing authentic South Indian food anywhere else.
