Must visit International Buddha Project ,this place include buddha vihar, mediation centre, Dr.Babasheb Ambedkar museum, as well as spred in vast area of greenery for picnic.
Dr.Babasaheb's only place with very nice, quiet and beautiful scenery.

History of this place like as The Lady late Mrs. Gopikabai Thakre had donated 11.36 acre land. At that time this land was barren in nature.The late Wamanrao Godbole who was Bhim Sainik has started journey in 1985 to make this place to known today's name "SHANTIVAN".Now Govt has taken initiative to develop the entire area in point of view tourism and devotional place for followers of Br. B.R.Ambedakar and Gautam Buddha. This place also have Museum in remembering Br. B.R. Ambedakar. You will be seeing lacs of followers most visiting on 14 April and 16 December. And also near by place you can go on hilly area too. Shantivan Chicholi prakalp is a project being developed by NIT. This is situated near Chicholi village on Katol road. This being developed as site for conservation of Babasaheb Ambedkar's memory where his belongings can be witnessed. Looks like the new structure has resemblance with Deeksha boomi structure on small scale. There are rare visitors on normal days but it gets more visitors on few days like Ambedkar jayanti. This is an upcoming tourist place and can bring tourism to this area.
There is a very nice Buddhist monastery and the work is still going on. When the work is completed, it looks very cool
