The only other place to stay in bharatpur bird sanctuary, where you can be closer to the night sky and hear the forest speak in silence of night. Wonderful location Food has limited option and is simple and nice. But for this who live to eat, might need to excuse. Bathrooms and rooms are as good as any govt accommodation in a forest. So don't have high hopes. The linen will be clean but since it's a forest, be prepared for insects and other crawlers in room and bathrooms. If u can bear them no better place to stay than this.
Shanti Kutir in the park is a Guest House where you can get accommodation which is provided by Forest Department. The rooms are really good and spacious. It's a luxury of course being inside the park. The place has a lawn in front and next to it and also a small trail is present behind it. The forest department office and staff quarters are situated here only so all the administrative people would be here during the working hours. You can get food served which is made by the local cook over here. Overall I'll say the quality and the service you get is worth so definitely if you get a chance to stay here you can go for it without second thoughts.
Amazing place bang in the middle of the forest. One gets up in the morning to the chirping of innumerable species of birds. The boat ride takes you around the park where you can see heronaries of mixed species. A walk in the national park lets you say hello to python, owls and other terrestrial birds. Makes me visit this place year after year for the last 25 years! A feathered paradise for sure...
It's a very peaceful and relaxing, natural place
Best place to stay. Inside the jungle, very quiet and peaceful. Indeed a different experience.
We thank the Indian Forest Service and it was indeed very kind of them to offer one of the best available rooms in their guest house. The guest house is located deep inside the sanctuary adding to its plus points. Reservation for the guest house is not available for tourists and our stay was possible because we knew the DFC. The peaceful environment, the fresh and cool air, good food and good people and the deers coming onsite left a lasting impression amd made our stay truly memorable. This visit totally changed my perspective about government lodges and guesthouses and i look forward for memorable stays. The location once again was more than exotic.
Superb beyond the emage , thanking to mr. Nahar singh ji and team for grateful hospitality
It a place inside Ghana bird sanctuary, a place peace and calm in the lap of nature... Have a good stay at reasonable rates.
