I never knew such old hotel like this is existed in berhampur. Recently, I explored this hotel. You may not get the bestest ambience here, but definitely it has peaceful yet nostalgic environment...so period. You will get good breakfasts here. People who serve, they might not the profrsionals like a big restaurant but they are polite and they know well how to treat people that's what matters at the end of the day. Do, visit for a peaceful time with breakfast or evening snacks.
The quality of food is no more the same. Took few of my relatives who wanted to taste authentic berhampur food but was highly disappointed with the quality of curry that has been degraded and felt very embarrassed in front of my relatives. Hotel owners should keep this one thing in mind if they want to increase the price but they have to maintain the same authenticity in quality of food and it's hygiene.
Food is good but ambience isn't all that nice
Good food. Idli and Puri is really good. Loved the halwa which is not too sweet. Just the right balance of sweetness. Rawa dosa did not meet my expectations but many others were ordering and seemed to have liked it.

1. One of the oldest outlet in the city famous for genuine Berhampur food. 2. It's very unlikely that you will find everything on the menu whenever you go there. 3. Space constraint makes customer a bit uneasy. 4. Food quality is OK but hygiene is something that needs a lot of improvement. 5. Staff behavior especially the ones serving the tables needs to be improved drastically. Overall a decent place for breakfast, snacks and sweets.
