Shankarpur beach is a beautiful place for tourists. This beach is well connected with Digha and tajpur and Mondarmoni via the new marine drive road. Recently this area beautified by Digha shankarpur development authority. This area has a parking place. Sitting area in front of the sea .There are several hotels for tourists.

We visited in the morning..... the rising sun was peeping through the clouds. The sound of waves and the calmness of the surroundings were just eternal....... Loved the place . The coconut was also cheaper than Digha/Mandarmani. Everyone should visit this place either in morning or in nighttime to feel the peace.....

Shankarpur is an awesome place to visit. Way better than Digha and New Digha. The beach in Shankarpur is way better than Old Digha and New Digha beach . The best attraction is the way to Shankarpur from Digha, that road is right adjacent to the sea beach. People stop vehicles on that road to take snaps there. Old Digha and New Digha beach is always super crowded but this Shankarpur beach is not at all crowded. Such a beautiful place. Commuters stop their vehicles for a few minutes, take snaps and go about their merry way from there. The road is too narrow there. But honestly, everyone visiting Digha should once go to Shankarpur from there via this road and enjoy the view. People of all ages visit this place. There are big boulders, to prevent soil erosion from the strong waves lashing on the beach.
