Great place to organize cultural events. It has a great atmosphere and various venue options within. The place is full of trees with beautiful colourful flowers. The buildings are very artistic, ethnic and clean.
The most calming and beautiful experience at Shankara Foundation, this Navratri. The durga pandal and the pooja ceremony with the decor was mesmerising and divine. Loved being amidst so many devotees and such beautiful decor. Kudos to the organisers for pulling off the event with great food, stalls and amazing decor. An absolute must visit if you're a theatre enthusiast. Highly recommend !
I visited Durga Pandal here, It was arranged very well. Decoration was beautiful. Many stalls are at this place, where we can purchase merchandise. I noticed that during Navratri time they even had kept chicken in the food stalls. It's odd as when people come to take darshan of God they don't eat non-veg. It may be common in Bengali Navratri, so not an issue. Also I bought butter and salt sweet corn there, it was priced at Rs100 on the menu which is actually costly. So while paying I asked the vendor how much he said Rs120, I was like 100 right and showed the menu, then he was like yes. Like he was about to loot 20 more. Authorities need to check on this vendor. There is only 1 stall that sells sweet corn during this 2023 Navratri, so it will be easy for authorities to know which stall. Stalls like that are shameful to the place. They need to be blacklisted and not allowed to put stall again.
Great venue for our art & craft workshops. They are very understanding partners who have high regards for the handmade.
Visited them again for Kanakapura Road Bengali Association's Durga Puja. Greenery everywhere and decent decoration. Had food stalls as well. Parking is mostly road side but bang outside Doddakalsandra metro station. Will visit the cafe sometime soon.
Shankara foundation Sri Durga Puja is excellent. But the prices of food courts are extremely high .The dance in the auditorium is good KSN
Really I loved the atmosphere that to be in this Bangalore city we have this type of place is great..
A very' beautiful place for any type of function. Parking is large. Rooms are available for stay. Good ground management. Kitchen and dining place are nice in natural surroundings.
