SHANKAR HOMESTAY .RAMU HOUSE - Home Stay in Kaddirampur - Ballari, India

We visited in Oct 2021. It was a good place. Clean and many trees inside the premises, we were looking for pure vegetarian but however owners told lie at the time of booking saying it's veg homestay. After going there they served non veg as well. Definitely owners very friendly and the stay was good. It's not about veg or non veg but but the lies were not acceptable.

A wonderful farmhouse plus home stay in Hampi. Loved the warmth and the ambience of the place. Being into occult sciences, I can feel the positivity of the place. Kavita and Ramu both are wonderful hosts and it feels like a family while staying there. We liked everything about Shankar homestay which includes the room, the delicious food, cleanliness and the lovely garden. We celebrated this Diwali with the hosts and also extended our stay by one night.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are amazing people who are very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the food was good. I highly recommend this place for a hassle free vacation.

I'm late on this review. Almost 4 years late. I was here at 2019. Loved the place. We were one day served kadaknath chicken which I can never forget. This place is definitely special which is why i would live to return back.

We went on a weekend bike trip and zeroed in on Shankar's homestay for two two-day stay at Hampi. This homestay is very well located in Kamalapur and within walking distance from the Royal Enclosures. The property is amazing, it is nestled amid mango and coconut trees and has three clean and comfortable rooms. It is run by a friendly and caring couple and we had a wonderful stay with them.

This homestay exceeded our expectations. It's the perfect place to stay when one visits Hampi. Set in a peaceful environment, in the country, with a garden and fruit trees in their yard, makes their guests appreciate better the hospitality of the hosts and feel like at home! Waking up in the morning by the singing birds is a unique feeling! If you choose to stay here, you will have nothing to worry about: From breakfast to dinner, transportation from/to airport, bus/train station, exploring Hampi and surroundings, tickets, exchange money, whatever you need, Kavitha and her husband are there to take care of. They have a dedicated driver, Anji, with his rickshaw available for short or longer tours. Anji speaks English and can be a helpful guide, too. Our (upgraded) room was large and comfortable, with everything we needed. The food prepared for breakfast or dinner was very delicious and among the best we tried in India.

The rain by chance drove me there. I couldn't stay as the government prohibited this but BUT it should re open the 21 September 2023 and I must say the owners are really nice and the area is nice. So get happy and get there.

excellent property in midst of nature. If you like homestay you will enjoy this place.Kavita and Ramu's hospitality is heart warming. Anji , staff member , is always helping. Consider this place if you are in Hampi and need quiet economical stay and also to support local business .
