This restaurant is really "SHAN" in Kashmir, located near Ghat No. 1 opposite Dal Lake.
This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool, and the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're serving. Their main priority is to make customers happy and satisfied with the food they serve. After dinner, we were so fascinated by the quality and taste of the food that we came back the next day for breakfast and lunch, and they met all our expectations. And last but not least, don't forget to try phirni.
A very good place to taste the local kashmiri food in a good warm seated ambience. I had ordered Wazwaan thali a traditional food made of Rice & yakhni along with 2 meatball gravy. The place has toilet for men & women with hot water handwash to save you during extreme cold weathers.
The restaurant is located at awesome place on the bank of dal lake which is the popular tourist destination here in Kashmir. Restaurant has also very good space so good for families and large groups.
I am so gutted that i forgot the name of the guy who served me here! The service was amazing and they did not say no to anything! My Hindi is very bad and by mistake they thought i ordered extra two naans. After they served the naans i told them my Hindi is bad and maybe it's a mistake. Without any questions or reaction they understood and took it back. Also, I cancelled the lime soda after ordering and they did not even show any kinda bad expression and they were very happy to do it. The guy was so amazing and the food here is so so so good ! Their honey khawa and wazwaan is extraordinary!
Place is located right at the centre, good view and amazing hospitality. Suggestions are made considering your taste and dishes are customised and prepared fresh as per your preference. Best butter roti we had and chicken changezi gravy was awesome.
