Had dinner here with a friend and had a good time. Location is good, on Dal lake and food and service is also good. If you are looking for a fine dining restaurant which is less noisy then this is the place. Others which I saw were noisy and some were in open. But here we have open seating and closed as well.
Went for dinner. Service terrible. You have to search for waiter . He takes order , brings and fizzes away. Now for anything more you have to go for another waiter.
1.Order Kashmiri pulaaw.. totally average preparation.
2.Mutton kabab. Kabab were not hand made but had come from directly from factory. Very thin size and would break down completely on slight cut.
Onions with kabab were totally uncooked. Absolutely gutter preparation.
3. Lastly when I went to bill after pathetic half an hour there, a new waiter followed me with POS machine and literally ordered me to enter TIP amount on the machine.
I told him to shut up. Paid my overcharged bill and left .
Very bad experience
We visited the restaurant which is very nice. Try their trout.... it is excellent!
The food is tasty with good presentation. Service is excellent. Will visit again soon.

not sure why some people are complaining about food quality.. i personally liked the food.. the quantity and taste were great..
we ordered mirchi korma which had well cooked pieces of mutton, a very tasty kashmiri pulao and handi dal.. all good
couldn't take photos as the mirchi korma was too appealing..
surely a place to visit again..
staff should smile a bit.. they seem very serious..
We were here for lunch. Food is simply awesome. We ordered Gustaba, Rogan Josh, Chicken Pudina. Everything was rich creamy and super tasty. If you have time during Srinagar visit, it is definitely worth trying food here.
Food is not good at all. Had the worst "marchangan korma" of life. The ambiance also is not that good.
