Shama Chicken Corner - Biryani restaurant in Gurugram - Gurugram, India

Located near Sohna road, Shama chicken corner is an old eatery which serves Biryani, chicken etc. The Biryani served here is of Muradabadi style: plain biryani and masala biryani. The quantity served is decent and the price is reasonable too. The tandoori chicken is good too, though it's more of a coal bed chicken rather than tandoor. They serve only roomali roti as it doesn't require a tandoor. You may try if you like muradabadi flavor. The rice used is of very high quality but the one drawback for me is it's loaded with breast chicken pieces. Else, good to go.

I love the Moradabadi Biryani!!! The food here is delicious and pocket friendly!!! If you are a non vegetarian then this place is worth a try!!! Even the veg biryani here is good!!

Very economic for Chicken biryani near CD Chowk, Sohna Road, Gurgaon. I have tried chicken biryani both plain and masala with coke. 1/2 biryani costs Rs120. Go and enjoy.

It is a good place with best affordable price... You can find your regular taste and also fresh serving... since there are hardly any leftover food...so you can have spicy and fresh taste...For regular visit..Its also Good.

Chicken Biryani is really good . It is Muradabadi style biryani. Chicken Kalimirch is also very nice. Have ordered several times from here, quality remains consistent 99% of the times. Prices are pocket friendly Highly recommended

I would like to update my review, I have tried biryani's from many different junctions and I will lower my rating based on following observations: 1. The quality of biryani and the chicken used in the making, places like Shama Chicken and other similar places use low quality chicken and low quality rice. 2. The ideal segment of customers they intend to serve. The ideal customer for them is those who need cheap food and can compromise on the quality of products used (I apologize if anyone feels aggravated from my statement) 3. The cleanliness and hygiene. Well, I think its a no brainer that hygiene is not exactly the top most thing in their mind and you can visit the place to confirm this. There could be a lot more points that I can add and I would urge all readers who like quality Biryani to try more options which are not high priced and still serve quality food. ==================================== Below is review from 2021 Although there are many more "Premium" options available but, the taste of non spicy biryani here is something that will stand out.
