Shalom Palace Kochi - Home Stay in Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

Visited this property few days back, i wouldnt suggest this place,the owner wasn't friendly. The place was stinking as there was so much garbage around. The place is really in a inside place didnt feel safe at all. I would suggest to prefer better hotel stay rather than this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shalom Palace that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was located in a peaceful and serene location.The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were top-notch. But perhaps the best part of my stay was the reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the hotel was, especially given the high level of service and amenities that were provided. In short, my stay at this hotel was wonderful from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and affordable place to stay.

Very pleasant stay with the most welcoming hosts. Eldhose and family were friendly to us and were flexible with early check-in and late check out at a minimal charge. This is an excellent place if one is looking for a pocket-friendly and clean apartment in Kochi. <3

Rooms here are very nice and spacious with a decent bathroom attached and air conditioning. The location is very annoying to reach imo but you can figure it out. Not much service is provided but good if you want to stay just for a night or two.

Had a very pleasant experience at this Shalom palace. Nicely kept rooms.

The Hotel manager is a belligerent, rude and incompetent person. Plays games with people who book rooms then leaves them hanging. His daughter seems competent. To bad he's around, if he was smart he would let her run the show.

Service: I stayed in Shalom Palace for three nights and I really enjoyed it. Budi and her Family are very nice and try to help you in any way. Also there is the opportunity to wash and try your clothes and you can get free water from the water can. Rooms: The rooms (sleeping room and bathroom) are very clean and nice. You have also the possiblity to sit in a commun area in the same floor as your room, for having food and relax. Location: Eventrough its not in Chochin Fort it self, what is probably for most of the travlers more interessting than Ernakulam, it was no Issues. There is a Busstation nearby and the Bus takes around 20 min. to this area. There is a small Shop next to the House where you can buy some Basic things. I really wish all the best to the Family!

It was a nice experience to stay in shalom palace,we felt homely atmosphere and very good hospitality..one suggestion is to provide some plates and cutleries for those who are ordering food from outside....
