Shahjahanabad Gate - Historical landmark in Bhopal - Bhopal, India

Even though I literally live very nearby this place but it is so overcrowded that you may get stuck in traffic jam like forever. Also it might have been a place of certain historical value but that side is sadly very largely neglected and the whole place is again literally surrounded by fish market and it seems like our government here failed to even repair the gate. Regular maintenance is a far sought dream.

It's an overrated place . Very crowded at evening and it's make traffic jams .

Beautifully architectured gate by bhopal's nawab begum. Must see. ASI should adopt it for the repairs before it collapsed.

This is the boundary gate of Bhopal at riyasat time, after the riyasat the boundaries were expand all directions

It was also a epitome of architecture It's condition is pathetic now walls are like falling dirty grass is growing everywhere.
