Beautiful Mosque having black stone pillars with carvings. Said to have been commissioned by Adil Shah 4th of Faruqi dynasty in 16 th century. Has a large courtyard and two minarets on either side. Central mehrab has Arabic inscriptions and another one has bilingual inscriptions in Sanskrit and Arabic. Pray for peace and prosperity here. Open 24x7. No entry fee. No parking lot.
visited the mosque early in the morning. To my surprise an employee of the mosque came up by himself and guided me. He showed each and every thing in the mosque , spoke about its history. Worth a visit.
