While it's a great airport overall, there is still room for further enhancement, particularly in terms of expanding dining and shopping choices. This airport has remembered the hereos of freedom struggle. Thanx to AAI for showing respect to them & remembering these freedom war hereos. Airport having world class infrastructure. Passenger comfort amenities are provided matching to that of international standards. Clean neat & well maintained premises & toilets. Relaxing arrangements are really good. Travelling through the airport including security checking is hassle free due to presence of Airport Authority of India (AAI) staff. Courteous staff of airlines @ the check in counters. There are buses to all places from here. You tell the address to where you want to go at the bus ticket counters within the airport premises & get a bus ticket from airport itself. Bus boarding point is just outside the airport. Lot of buses are available throughout the day from ISBT-43 & ISBT-17 to come to airport. Bus from airport will take you upto ISBT-43 & the catch another bus to the place where you want to go. So better take ticket upto ISBT-43 from airport. Prepaid taxis & autos are available to/fro this airport.

Chandigarh Airport is indeed a well-maintained and clean airport. The services provided within the airport are extensive, ensuring a pleasant travel experience. One particularly impressive aspect is the efficient handling of queues; there is no need for long waits. The security teams work closely to swiftly clear the queues, making the airport an excellent choice for travelers. The Chandigarh Airport lounge is quite small but sufficiently comfortable. I had easy access with my existing debit card, which was convenient, especially since I wasn't feeling well. I visited primarily to have some fruit. However, upon arrival, I noticed there was only one fruit available - watermelon. I decided to ask the staff if they had any other fruits, and to my delight, they said yes. After a short wait, they brought out freshly cut muskmelon and served it to me at the table. It was a very sweet gesture, and I truly appreciated their kindness

I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the airport is. Of course we arrived too early in the morning to see the full fledged working of the airport. The chaiwala on the side of the luggage carousal was nice touch and the decoration of the local culture is a nice welcome. Be careful of getting taxi. If you take bus ride to punchkula it is Rs 100 pp, if you take prepaid taxi it is around 750 and if you take ola, you will end up paying around 650 with parking and Chandigarh tax. We were cheated by the ola person saying he wasn't charging parking fee but when we checked the invoice, it was included.

Very well maintained, neat and clean international airport with 4 gates. The lounge is not accessible here. Located on the outskirts of Mohali.

Check in...immigration...security is really quick and good but nothing in lounge.. only a coffee shop... the domestic side has more activity... probably less international flights is a reason... but really a hassle free airport with stunning views. During good season it looks straight out of any European city.

Relatively small international airport. Well maintained and is beautiful. Not many food options though. Washrooms are clean. Spread over two floors, upper floor has departures and check-in, lower floor has arrivals. There is a liquor store in departures floor but it was closed during our visit. Though it says Chandigarh, airport terminal is situated in Mohali, Punjab. Roads leading to this airport are under construction and are congested at certain points, so plan to have some buffer time while flying out.

Very beautiful. Small airport in beautiful city, Chandigarh maintenance very well. Very clean washroom is also very clean and full hygienic drinking water available in all washrooms outside. Small shopping shops. available also have some small restaurant. They are open. 24 hour. You get very tasty snacks and drinks in nominal price. All airport staff are very helpful. Security staff is also very good. Basically all needs things are available in the airport. It's very easy to approach from bus station, 43 every one hour and available bus to airport.
