Shaam-E-Sarhad Village Resort - Kutch - Resort hotel in Hodka - Kachchh, India

This resort is an absolute treat ! We had pretty much booked the entire place for a group of 20. Simple food, local musicians who regaled us with an evening of folk music, tents and thatched roof huts. A fantastic place to stay if you plan to visit Dholavira / Road to Heaven.

Had a very enjoyable stay here. The service staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Hotel room is clean. The view is amazing! Enjoyed the sightings of some birds. Stayed for 2 nights there and had a lot of fun during our stay. All in all, highly recommended for a relaxing and fun stay!

The property is neatly maintained. A Very hospitable staff. Warm welcome followed up with good service. Only issue faced by us was with hot water in early morning. Hope it is addressed. Veg food served is delicious. A great holiday destination.

Well maintained mud huts. A lot of effort is put in to keep them clean. However, there was a large lizard in one of the huts. Maybe these creatures are inevitable is such structures in such locations. Food was good. Overall hospitality was excellent.

Pros: 1. Location 2. Staff & Service 3. Food and property 4. Rooms Cons: 1. Tents lack heating facility and in December barely people can spend the night in there. 2. Hot water takes a long time to reach the taps there by wasting a lot of cold water (at least 4 buckets!)

Most recommended. Good service and food. Worth experiencing local village life. Situated in isolation to have best experience vs other resorts in group and crowded. Easy accessibility from main road.
