Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, is a Super-Speciality teaching and training Medical Institution, situated to the Southeast of Lucknow city on Lucknow-Raebareli Road, and is nearly 12 Km from the main (Charbagh) railway station, Lucknow Airport and city center (Hazratganj). From the railway station, private buses (route 3) run to the Institute at short intervals. Alternatively, pre-paid auto-rickshaws taxis are also available for travel to the Institute. The hospital is located nearly 1 Km from the Institute main gate and a regular free shuttle bus makes a to-and-fro trip every 10-15 minutes. The Institute has 1050 beds, including 146 intensive/high dependency beds. It has 24 operationtheaters with state of art facilities. This hospital was built in memory of Sanjay Gandhi Which is the largest hospital in Lucknow. Here, every disease is treated successfully. In this hospital there is a doctor for the treatment of every disease, which is engaged in the service of 24 hours. There is always cleanliness in which patients do not have any problem. About 2500 patients here come from different areas for treatment every day. The disease which is not treated for treatment, the disease is successfully treated in this hospital. The behavior of the staff of this hospital is very good. The staff here has a lot of care for the people.

Need to correct OPD system very worst experience in Naveen opd

Hospital management very poor Drs. not coming there timing and not inform to patient when ur OPD time and today I come with my wife 8 am she suffers pregnant 9 moth for Ultrasound but till time 4:20 but not Ultrasound.

Very bad Dr Akash and staff in nephrology emergency building . I went with my patient having kidney issue. They admit my patient but not taken care properly& at the time of emergency doctors are not available in nephrology private ward which leads to cause death of patient. Seriously itna bad experience tha. Mera patient better tha hospital se phle jab vo admits hue to aur condition kharab hogaee because doctors are very unsupportive. Dr. Akash in nephrology is very bad .He doesn't have proper knowledge in his field . Please be aware of PGI nephrology EMRTC building.staffs and doctors are very careless.
