Serenity Surf House - Guest house in Puducherry - Villupuram, India

A dainty little place right on serenity beach. Next to mother ocean surf club. Security -2/10 Maintenance- 5/10 Value for money - 8/10 Access to beach and surfing - 10/10 Cleanliness - 5/10. The beach is dirty. Not well maintained. Smelly. Giving the place a 5 star only cuz of the surfing experience next door.

Located right on the beach, Serenity Surf House is an excellent stay for beach & ocean lovers. While the house is complete in terms of facilities and amenities, it lacks a few specifics which would have earned it a 5-star rating. The sitout overlooking the beach on the top of one of the rooms provides a killer view, but doesn't get enough wind owing to the taller building on its side, and doesn't have a fan or any other means of eliminating the scorching heat. The kitchen was equipped with gas, but the cutlery and utensils are in need of an overhaul. And while one of the ACs stopped working on our first day, the owners were quick to get it fixed ensuring a pleasant 2-night stay. The courtyard space is landscaped very well, complete with a hammock, but there is no protection from falling coconuts. There is good space for parking a car just outside the house, but random Beach visitors may Park their vehicles there, and you won't be able to do much about it. Also, the beach is famous for surfing, and right next door is a surf school.

This residency is great for any group between 4-6 people! It is very homely & simple, yet with a lot of flare, great view of morning sunrise from the rooftop launge and a stone throws access to the beach when even you feel like you wanna take a dip. The kitchen set up is very simple and could use one or two more chairs (foldable or easy to stack) and some more cuttlery, bowls and a drying rack. All in all, the place has all the basic requirements to get by for a few days and I would recommend it to anyone who is okay with simplicity, wants to try out beach side living on the east coast and is looking for a quick, affordable pitstop at the up & coming Serenity Beach in Pondicherry.

We stayed there for 3 nights.. View is the only beauty of this Place. Booked thru Airbnb at little high price. Shankar is good host and he made our stay very comfortable. He also runs Surf School, if you plan to stay for 3-4, then do take 2 days of basic surf class, worth trying a new sport.

We had a very pleasant stay and the host was extremely helpful and cooperative. He personally took care of all our needs and was available as soon as we called. Would recommend this place one hundred percent.

Cozy little place right at the beach front. The property has two independent rooms and a kitchen. You have delivery partners delivering food at your doorstep. The view from the room is the sea . The place is well kept and washrooms are spacious as well. Kapoor who manages the place is pretty helpful. Just next door is the Mother Ocean Surf school.Shankar, the surf master is a great coach to learn surfing from. Serenity beach is a great place to explore surfing.

Wow what a place man. I recently visited the place. It was an amazing experience for me and to my friends. They were from UK and they are sincerely loved it enjoyed. One of the villas in Serenity is surf house. Surf house is one of the very perfect villas to have a sea view and chill.. This villa is located very near to the beach that the soothing sound of the waves could be heard all time which makes mind calm and peaceful.. A perfect view of sunrise could be seen.. Inside of the house is very attractive and neat.. The host Kapoor was very kind and he is there to help us the things we need and make our stay more peace. Thanks a lot to him and his staff. The house cleaned every day and maintain the place more beauty. Decorations are very attractive although they are made of very simple and cheap items.. It has two bedrooms at same compund. The bedroom with 2beds and exra 2 beds to kids. Kitchen is well maintained with stove, gas and all necessary utensils.. .. This description applies to only surf house which is one among the Serenity Beach Villas.. this villa is located about 4-5 kms away Pondy main town.. Kapoor also arranged us home made food which is more delicious,. Thanks to him. We will surly visit next time.

Frankly the best villa to stay! Kapoor is so heart welcoming. The villa was very neat and tidy. You have everything here.. fridge, stove, all basic kitchen stuffs, music system. Everything. One of the best views from the villa! Definitely stay! Highly recommend this place.Also safe place for the girs. Thanks for hosting us.
