I had a terrible experience while booking the room itself so I am glad that I didn't chose this place for stay. On the day of booking they changed the tariff of the room and I had to constantly ping them to send me pictures of the room so that I can proceed with the booking. In a service industry a person needs to be humble enough to admit their mistakes and be prompt so that you attract more customers. This was the first time when I had to follow up on the room images whereas everywhere people are more efficient. No wonder I should have read all the service related reviews before contacting them then I would not have to even be slightly dispappointed.

I recently stayed at the Senses Hotel in Kolkata, and while the hotel's location was excellent, there were some aspects of the service that left me desiring for more. The hotel's prime location in the bustling business district was a major plus point. It was convenient and in close proximity to all the amenities any traveler may need, which made it easy to explore the city. Regarding cleanliness, I have no complaints. The hotel staff worked diligently to maintain a clean and tidy environment, and their support was always helpful and courteous. However, I must admit that the service level fell short of my expectations. It was a bit disappointing that I had to provide multiple reminders to get simple requests fulfilled. For instance, even after several reminders, I didn't receive the three fresh towels that were required for the three people staying in the room. Additionally, not all the amenities that were advertised were available in the room, which was quite frustrating. On a positive note, the in-house kitchen deserves commendation for their culinary skills. The food they served was delicious and a highlight of my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and the diverse menu they offered. With a bit more attention to service, this hotel could become a top choice for travelers visiting Kolkata.

I have stayed here just 2 days ago, I faced horrible experience. I have booked excutive room. And the room was dirty there is a cockroaches, and main thing is that AC did not work properly. We called room service, they checked that. Still same thing. Also we have asking to change the room, and they didn't responce. And they are want 3000 for this room, this room charges should be 1500. And also you can stay on 3k price any other hotel much better than that. So I never suggest anyone to go there.

I had booked a double bed for 2 days but instead they gave us 2 single bed. On insisting they assured to change the room the very next day but upon enquiry they replied that all the rooms are already booked and they are helpless. Moreover, they denied our entry in the pool at 9:02pm saying that the timing is till 9pm whereas 5-6 people were already in the pool. The next morning when we went they again denied our entry stating that we need to have proper swim suit. However, the most shocking part was that the people who were enjoying the pool late in the evening on the previous day were all in casual shorts and not in swim suit. The hotel doesn't have consistent rule and it all depends on their whims and fancies. At last we asked the people at the reception to connect me to the manager but they gave me false assurance and did nothing. The behavior of the guard at pool was also very rude and wasn't afraid of anyone as per his statement

The rooms are good and spacious with a good ambience, The rooms were clean and the bathroom was good. However the cups and water kettle were dirty, so I had to ask the room service team to get it cleaned. The Air Conditioning was not working properly, it was taking a lot of time to cool the room.

It was my first time visit to a five star hotel. The Bengali manager is really hospitable (I didn't remember his name). Food quality is so homely that I get ' barir khabar ' vibe. Thank you Senses for your wonderful hospitality.

Terrible experience at the hotel. They are running a swimming pool scam in the property. I wasn't allowed to enter the pool despite wearing synthetic swim shorts and having swimming cap as well as glasses. I was forced to pay 500 to rent the bodytight costume from them each time i want to swim. This is nonsensical and this is the first hotel that has this policy. Further there was a random 2 hour power cut in the morning. No wifi as well. This is not expected from a 3-4 star property charging 5K a night.

I had worst ever experience of this hotel room is dirty damp cockroach are moving around the room. Stuff behavior is rude. I stayed on oct 23 .booked from MMT Hotel refuse to provide bill during check out. Not at all recommend .. Unhygienic damp . I think west Bengal govt should banned this hotel..
