If we are going to Pondicherry for a trip then most of the time is spent outside only. So as per my experience rooms are just for changing and having rest.
If you are staying for a single night then this property is fine but if you want to stay for a long time then I would say go for another one.
This property is just 100m away from the Aero Beach. Rooms are fine, not bad. AC is working fine. You can order food from outside too.
The nearby area is simple. Not more crowded.
We went to this place with my family. The rooms are neat and clean, and feels safe but that service person little bit rude. During checkout they have charged me some amount for cleaning charges.
Worst behavior by the owner had booked rooms paid advance... At end moment they showed other room than what was booked... Don't go their... They tell something and later do something else and overly priced... Location not good.... Not for family...
Good place for large stay or even for couples. Very close to the beach, may be 2 min walk. I wish they had some onsite cook which they didn't have. Budget friendly and good place. Do note, this place is not in the city center.

One of the best cottage in Auroville with an afordable price. The rooms are very neat & clean and the best part is the bathrooms, which is well maintained. The hotel staffs are also very good and very helpful.
Before going for the final booking I went through many negative reviews saying that the hotel is bad, not for familys etc. But trust me its the most safest place to stay with your family or friends. Me & my hubby enjoyed a lot and felt very safe there. They also provide rental Bike & Scooty & the location is exact as shown in the map. And last but not the least, the best part of the hotel is, its just near the beach, say about 600m. We had a great experience with Selvasi Beach Cottage.
1. Never pay money to them without looking into the room.
2. Don't get fooled by the photos.. they have poor rooms too.
3. Very poor maintenance
4. Rooms and restrooms were not clean.
Don't pay the amount without seeing the room, the room is very small , if u request for the return advance they will be very rude . No car parking we have provide the car key to them, they will steal the fuel.
