Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands - Resort hotel in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

I never want to visit this property again and I would never recommend this to any of my fellow mates. We had such a drastic and worst experience of a resort ever in my life. We felt cheated on arrival. The pool view rooms were so bad such that it is not worth more than 4000 even during seasons. No water was provided, bathroom was too old with stained commodes, dusty quilts. There are no proper mats to dry before entering the rooms. To know how pathetic the condition is, just have a look at the room key, it tells the remaining. Kid pool , shower area were so dirty, so was not accessible. Tiles were broken in the main pool due to which we sustained some injuries on foot. Sleeping was not all comfortable due to mosquitoes. For all the miseries, we paid a amount of 45000. About the breakfast, it was one of the poor option which i had from among all the resorts i went. Normally for this priced resorts, they would provide a variety of options for breakfast including continental. No such thing here. They even didn't provided hot water in bathroom. When asked it is Solar powered, so we have to wait. Like we have to wait till the Sun to show up

I can highly recommend this place! The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms are very clean & big. The beach is clean & it is perfect for sunbathing. The food was very tasty. For vegetarians there is not much choice but we always liked it. Our waiter Sujith did an excellent job! Thank you all!!!

Right on the beach with a great team to make your vacation a win! Very family oriented so no alcohol sold on site. Chef did a great job and the host always called to confirm dinner or lunch plans.

We booked our room through EaseMyTrip. We booked the property for the beach access and the pool they had. The moment we arrive to the resort we found out that the pool is not working, which was nowhere mentioned on their website or on the EaseMyTrip portal. It is a very disappointing attitudes towards the customer. Highly highly unprofessional behaviour. Disappointing services and no corporation with the customer regarding any negotiations. Really very disappointed with the staff and the management.

Really a good property for weekend staycation. Especially the pool and the private beach access was a amazing experience. The staffs of this property are really cooperative and approachable. But they don't accept payment at the property. Online payment has to be done before check-in

Beware of the haunting area. 1.They don't provide a landlines to contact the reception. Upon asking they said company not allowing. So in the middle of the night if you are in any emergency you are your own. 2. You won't even get a bottle of water after 10pm till 7.30 am in the morning 3. If you need to get a tea you can order after 7.30 that also you need to go to the kitchen and see if they are open. 4. Small pool with only 3 feet deapth 5. They will put you in the remotest cabin unless you ask for. They will charge extra if you need to change. 6. It's mentioned 2pm is the check-in time but it's very difficult for the people travelling from long distance. 7. Finally it is not worth to spend 10k for a night. 8. Breakfast is below average. 9. They didn't charge me for an extra bed. But facts are facts.

Very nice location. Really enjoyed the ambience right on the beach. They have a private access to the beach and the best part is that they clean the beach everyday. This is doing by the lady from the village. They served fabulous lunch which includes local delicacies and fresh seafood grills.

Very well maintained and managed property. Staff were friendly and welcome. Special mention : Sree Raj (Reception person) who assisted throughout our stay This property has a private Beach access and also a very hygienic stay providing best service. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful stay.
