Seclude Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh - Villa in Kasauli - Solan, India

Stayed at seclude kasauli over a couple of days. Amazing hosts ,Beautiful property, wonderful views of mountain. Stunning and cozy room with top notch services. The ambience and beautiful sitting space added to the charm. Food and hospitality is excellent. The staff is very courteous and made sure that we have a pleasant stay. It's undoubtedly a must visit place .

My experience at Seclude, Kasauli was more than a beautiful one as the staff here is super cooperative and helping. Rooms are super cozy and If you wanna witness a crazy sunrise with your room just checkout for "Sleepy Blue" Room and you'll not regret it The bakery was just another thing I liked the most, specifically the muffins also the cafe here is another add on where you can have tasty meals

I have never seen such beautiful staff hosting happily at such a great property, loved the Indian food that they served. And especially the rooms, having extra bathroom slippers, these things for me, the detailing, helps in promoting a luxurious experience.

So this is my first time travelling with strangers on a trip. I was worried how would it be, but it turned out to be totally a different experience. Never thought I could make friends so quick. I think the fastest way to make a friend for life is to travel with a stranger The services, activities, hospitality, rooms, location and what not? Everything are on top notch. Couldn't ask for more. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. The rooms are cosy and the view is great. However, water and power issues are a constant. Either the shower doesn't have pressure or hot water or there's no power and hence not a drop in any tap or the pot. The worst part and reasoning behind my overall bad rating was the absolutely unpleasant experience we had while leaving with a resident of the area. He was extremely rude and hostile and borderline abusing us for reversing our car over a 'green patch' calling us names. I wanted to give him an earful but didn't want to get into it with an old man. Horrible experience. Until this exchange, we were thinking of coming back but never again.

Do read this, before booking a stay at Seclude kasauli. PROS: 1. Scenenic View - If you are a nature lover then this is the spot for you. From the whispering winds to birds chirping, you'll encounter a spectacular day night experience. 2. Staff - Staff is very polite and cooperative. I asked for a toothpaste at 12am in the night and they provided it without any hesitation, which I feel is a very good gesture. Mr. Gopal Sharma and Mr. Jitender have been a huge help, staying there.They both were really nice people. 3. Room - Room is fine, despite of some small issues (like low light in the room, No toothbrush and toothpaste present prior to our check-in), its neat and clean. CONS: 1. Food - Food was average according to reputation of the resort. I booked a candle light dinner for my wife birthday @ 6000/- but it feels like they didn't even spent 1000/- on that. - Soups were served in coffee mugs. - They served desert even before starters (corrected by us.) - Dal Makhni and butter Chicken Gravies were so dense that they didn't even fall apart from the spoon, which was very disappointing. 2. Tariff - Costly Rooms. I had paid @10,000/- for 1 night and extra 6000/- for Candle light Dinner, but wasn't worth it. 3. Very bad reception at head office Delhi - Once they had received 100% advance payment of the booked cottage/ property, they don't take your calls or reply to the mails or messages easily (you'll have to call or message them repeatedly to get the required attention and help regarding your query).
