Great food! The whole family is very sweet. We didn't actually stay at the property but next time we'll definitely stay here. Right on the beach. Great vibes. Trying the Thalis is a must. The hosts are very generous and you will experience an authentic taste of Kerala when you stay here.

It was an incredible stay. Just a few walk and you are on the beach. Safeena aunty you are the bestest. Must eat prawn masala and chicken curry prepared by aunty. She is an amazing cook. They have a lovely shack, where you can sit and work and watch sunset. Got a homely atmosphere there. Lovely people.

We only followed a cooking class, and this was a great experience. We could choose some dishes from the menu we wanted to learn. They invited us in the restaurant kitchen and kindly explained everything. The experience and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend to follow a cooking class here if you like a homely class!

Best sleep I've had in India, even though visually the room is very basic. The owners are so nice and genuine, it made the stay one to come back to. The restaurant on property offers the best food I've had in Kerala. Would gladly come again next year.

In the women's sleeping dorm were bugs living on the bed and the men's dorm didn't have a shower, only the public toilet from the restaurant. But the location is nice, set directly on the beachfront. And the owners are very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here in 2015. The family and food were excellent. I stayed in one of the round houses outside. No fan but a great sea breeze. They also hired us scooters at very reasonable prices.the place is a bit grubby but it suited us. We stayed 4 days. Loved it.

We stayed at a hostel down the road and kept coming back to Sea Shore for food. Such a lovely family who made us feel welcome. Great food also and big portions for reasonable prices. Would recommend the chocolate porotta and the banana leaf masala. Delicious!

Pros: Great location backing right onto the beach, really friendly helpful family running it, nice platformed seating area. Arranged early pick up for us from the hostel. Cons: Didn't serve any cold drinks. Room had surfaces caked in grime and dead insects. My pillow was filled with little grains that look like eggs. No sink or bin in the bathroom. Door to bathroom broken. You get what you pay for so overall can't complain. We had a whole dorm as a group of three girls. See issues in other posts to come prepared- need to come armed with a sleeping bag liner. Not sure how it's got 8.4 on hostel world ...
