SEAGATE - Restaurant in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

This is the best stay on Kudle beach and has an amazing staff. The rooms are clean and nicely kept and the food also has a beautiful variety. They have a breathtaking view of the beach and is right next to the stairs that leads to Kudle Beach. The room has a beautiful view and so does the big open veranda with clean washroom and continuous hot water. All the staff members are very kind and helpful and are quick to respond to any requests. I would highly recommend this space for anyone who is looking out for a great time in a budget.

Our welcome was a little different,we were welcomed by a dead mouse and some coacroaches the moment we entered the room. The room was not at all clean and below average, to reach the location you have to do a trek itself and no luggage service was provided. During night we had a thrill experience a mouse came in room and we spent half of night at mouse hunting, and no one was picking call at reception. Inshort I would never suggest someone to go there it was not at all worth for money. The only good thing was the view but rest everything was below below average.

The details of Seagate or specially it's accessibility is such an issue. One should take 100 stairs in pitch dark (if it's after 6pm) to reach the beach resort. Extremely difficult for children and aged people. Not a place for families cause of its accessibility concern. The stairs are also in very bad state, with no lights, untidy and very shabby.

Amazing food and stay. Rooms were up to date and spacious. TV wasn't working but we didn't end up watching it anyway.

Very dirty place, must be avoided. The hotel is located at almost 15min steep climbing. Place is filled with used plastic,bottles and what not. The place also does not feel safe and its not worth even Rs500 stay. I wonder why they are charging around 3k-5k for such pool places. The beaches are also dirty,place is not good. If you want to ruin your vacation please come here! See attached picture of location.

Expensive for the kind of rooms, but the location is worth it. Great service in addition to a good beach facing restaurant/shack. You can get your own alcohol and chill at the restaurant anytime. Don't expect much from the rooms though. I found the food to be good and reasonable for the price. They serve beer too.

Seagate overall is an ok experience, bcz of few reason - hotel is good , but few disadvantages are also there with this. Location - location is good bcz near to beach, but negative point are front entrance is not there from main road they have two way for getting into beach, one side entrance is so far we have to walk almost 1 km , for walk n 1 km is ok, but we have to walk with luggage that is the main prblm that to on sand that not so easy, . N other entrance is like forests, getting auto is easy alwys there at entrance n other side is difficult to get auto which is near to hotel. Food is ok. Room service is also ok. But power issue was there, we need to keep on telling staff abt that, n then they ll settle in one min. It was overall ok experience. Except walking towards hotel from beach otherwise it's nice experience Parking issue is also there. It's not near to hotel. But one of the best thing was. Sea view from hotel it was awesome When we are near to beach, we can spend more time, walk whenever we want. Night walk is super there. Peaceful experience Enjoy ur trip

I recently stayed at Seagate located on Kudle beach, a beachfront hotel that exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel's location was simply unbeatable, with direct access to the pristine beach that was just steps away from my room. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was the perfect background music for my vacation.
