SEA VIEW RESORT GOPALPUR - Resort hotel in Gopalpur - Ganjam, India

Staying at sea view resort was like staying at home. Everyone there was so kind and courteous. They always used to greet us with a broad smile on their face. If we needed anything, they responded back in a very short period of time. The service was great. The food we ordered was amazing and tasted just like home. The quality and quantity of food are so good. The rooms were clean and tidy. Last and not the least, well maintained, wonderful green lawn and garden with various flowers blooming all over made our stay more memorable. It was a beautiful experience to stay there. I would recommend every friend and family member who visits gopalpur to stay there.

It was a great experience staying there. Sea beach is just some seconds away. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and hygienic. The staff are very helpful. In-house restaurant foods are very delicious and less spicy, just like home cooked food, but you have to order a prior earlier. The lush green lawn and garden is very pleasant.

I was in this hotel for 2 days along with family and friends. The Manager is very rude, who say no to everything. There is no restaurant. Kitchen is there, for dinner order need to be placed before 5 PM. 90% of items given in Menu is not available. Most interesting things is you can't order 1 plate of any item minimum you have to order 2 plates. If you try to order from outside then you have to pay service charges of Rs.300. So, I have paid Rs.300 for bringing outside food to this hotel. You can't go outside after 10PM becoz gate will be locked. I have never experienced such things in any hotels till date. They have a different rule book which is not found anywhere else. My Gopalpur trip was awesome except this hotel. I will ensure that myself or any of any near and dear will never go this hotel.

I visited gopalpur for my official tour and stayed their for 19 days. The main thing I must appreciate that they provide a free 5G high speed wifi facility, which I strongly needed for my office presentation with a laptop in the evening. This facility is rare in a remote place like gopalpur. The room I stayed was thoroughly cleaned regularly by their staff. They changed the white bed sheets, pillow covers, soap and towels every two days. My clothes were washed by their laundry facility. The bathroom was regularly cleaned by the sweeper. Food was less spicy and just like home. They have a strong power backup and even the laptop, AC and gyser operated in power cut. The manager Joy da was very friendly and even gave me medicine when I had a mild fever. Really, a home away from home. I recommend this resort to all visitors who are planning to visit gopalpur.

People should book at their own risk. Staying in a dharamsala is far better than this dhaba type resort. Get the feedback from local community prior to get in this dhaba type hotel, instead of relying on Google reviews. Most of the reviews are from fake account. Go for Seamerrid Boutique Resort without second thought.

This is a cute resort, situated just a stone throw away from the beach and having a beautiful garden. We, a group of two families, visited this resort in the month of April and stayed in two A.C. Deluxe Rooms. Rooms are very nice, having a small balcony and a living space. Staffs are very helpful. They have an in-house restaurant and the food is very delicious. We had a memorable stay at Sea View Resort. I strongly recommend this resort.

This resort is located in the main spot just opposite to lighthouse and around 50m from the beach. They have a well maintained lawn and a beautiful garden. The room was clean and well equipped with all facilities. We had a smart TV in our room with high-speed internet, and we spend a great time by watching movies on YouTube at night. Staffs are also very helpful. The food was great. The best thing is that they also run AC even in load shedding, which is rare in Gopalpur. Our overall experience was good.

I was at Gopalpur for a weekend getaway. I had to stay here as the availability of rooms was difficult at Gopalpur. Honestly the only thing going for this stay was the scarcity of hotels at Gopalpur. The staff was rude, the manager more rude. This hotel runs on its own rules. 1. Has a kitchen which doesn't prepare anything on their own nenu. The things they do prepare, they will only prepare if you order at least 2 plates. 2. You can't even take outside food even if their kitchen does not provide you food. For bringing food you have to pay a service charge. 3. Will change sheets only at 2 day interval, no matter what. How people staying for one day has to adjust, only the manager knows. 4. While checking out, if u ask for 10 15 minutes to get things ready, the manager argues with u, and the staff forces themselves into the rooms without permission. 5. Gave a torn blanket. Go to this hotel only if you have no other rooms available in gopalpur.
