Food was just incredible. Nice flavourful food and range of options to choose from. Good Portion size as well. I ordered Gobi Manchurian and I highly recommend it. For breakfast I ordered Masala Dosa, again incredible flavour and good sized potato masala filling . Veg fried rice for dinner I ate was Also very delicious. Over-all, 5 for the food. Rooms were not so decent for the price - 1000 INR. Yhe bed sheet was not clean, bathroom was not rinsed with previous owners sand, etc. The fan was filthy and dirty. No toiletries provided. Over-all 3.5 for the rooms.
We went here for breakfast in June and the vibe was good. I'm always down for a sea view meal and so I enjoyed it. The Indian food there is good but they need to work on their sandwich making and plating.
Rooms are quiet and cozy. Not much amenities, but the view is good. Cafe is also lowkey good, food and drinks are good, and it is just by the bay.

The First thing I want to say is about the path towards the stay. I think the path needs to be improved as it is very difficult to go down and climb up as it feels like kind of trekking with the lugguages. You cannot take your bikes/cars as you need to park at the top where they cost 50rs for one day. Overall the place is good who loves beach stay also you can sleep near the beach whole night as nobody is going to stop you. Coming to the prices of the food, they charge more only for Masala dosa it costed 100rs and water bottle 30rs. Overall if you are looking on a budget stay this is best.
A very easily accessible place with great food and great service. The owner of this place is very humble and ready to serve any day or night time. Affordable rooms and great quality food, they really put their top most efforts in fulfilling customer needs. I had a great time during my visit. Great sea view and lots of happy customers.
Pathetic experience. Worst ever service experience one can really have. Rooms were not clean, beds and floors were full of sand. Low ventilation in the rooms. The beds were bunker beds and the cieling fan was placed in such a way that you may find your head chopped off when you wake up. We asked multiple times to the owner to send someone to clean the floor but noone showed up. We asked for even water bottles but noone provided that either.The bedsheets were used bedsheets and full of sand, the rooms and bathrooms were stinking when we reached. The behavior of the staff was also not tolerable. For any food or drink their first response was it is not possible or it will take time, and at the end all we got was just stale food. The owner also had a very rude behavior, we asked for a packet of biscuit kept on the table in front of her, but she said , " I cannot give you anything, go away" and she switched off the lights. Food was pathetic, stale, of very bad taste, breads don't know made of what, and chocolate parathas in the name of pancakes. Even though we had booked in advance, when we asked if there are any other rooms available the owner ( other reviewers' favorite lakshmi aunty ) rudely replied take this room only otherwise there are other people I can give it to. A terrible place to spend your time in Gokarna and vacation. There are better places (Zostel), which will be a little costlier but worth the stay. FINAL VERDICT : BOOK YOUR STAY IN ADVANCE AND DONOT EVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME IN GOKARNA!!
Worst experience of stay at this place. Unfriendly staff and worst food ever. Rooms were unclean and stinking. There was no ventilation and beds were dirty while we entered the room. We asked the infamous lakshmi aunty to clean the room once we reach, but she didn't and said I will give the room to someone else. We again asked her to send someone to clean the rooms but noone came. Dining was worst in the cafe, if you want the view then there are lot better options on the beach with better food and better service.
This place is amazing. Fish lovers can call you a heaven. Don't worry about ambience, your taste buds will absolutely appreciate the food that they offer. Authentic food.
