Most items were unavailable/ limited portions, though we were the only table at the time of ordering. Service needs to be worked on a lot, waiters do not inform if a dish that was ordered is out of stock, while you sit and wait for the same , assuming it's being prepared. Bartender whips out some amazing Spirits, go for his specials. Pro tip: Either go to the bar & discuss your drink or call the bartender to the table as the waiter(s) was not at all familiar with the menu. Food is good - starters are the highlight of the meal, but portions are small, so order in bulk
Disappointed The menu looked tempting and with its previous fame (Masala House), this looked promising. None of the food we ordered were fresh, the prawns were smelling off, the biriyani was over seasoned, noodles were just lacking love. The watermelon juice and the apaams were the only saving grace.
Food was late and also taste was pretty bad. The Kokam Masala mocktail was the only decent 'food' item we ordered. If food is a requirement, there are many better options. Pls avoid this one.
Had a relaxing and comfortable stay at this property. Food at their restaurant is also very tasty, with good options!
SEA is a stunningly beautiful restaurant housed in an old Goan Portuguese villa in Assagao. We visited at lunchtime on a weekend and the tastefully designed space and cool green outdoor area won my heart. I have a thing with old Goan homes and I cannot lie. I can imagine how it must transform into a beautifully romantic spot at night. Our appetites were whetted by the descriptions of the food, and without further delay, we placed an order for starters. We tried the Ghee roast black pepper mutton, Black pepper chicken with long beans, and the Vietnamese spring rolls. Each one of these dishes was so good!- The burst of rich flavour in the mutton ghee roast, the refreshing and fresh Chicken salad, and the crispy and succulent Spring rolls. For the mains, we tried the Sri Lankan Elu maas curry with Malabar parotta and Malay Chicken Korma with Roti Jala. I loved the idea of eating edible doilies, at least that's how pretty it looked ;) Having said that, the true Malabar girl in me would choose the Malabar parotta and spicy mutton curry over and over again :) Finished the meal with the dessert of the day which was a classic fudgy brownie topped with Vanilla ice cream. The servers and attendants of the restaurant knew exactly when to walk over to the table and went to leave us alone. That's something that adds to the dining experience. All in all, a meal full of delicious surprises and delights set in a gorgeous old Goan villa.
I really enjoyed this place, I ate the off the Masala House menu. Great service, the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is in a gorgeous bungalow and the terrace has a garden outlook. Definitely worth checking out.
Food was super slow, horrible portions, and way over priced- and fish was frozen and not fresh at all, too salty Prawns were nice but they cut 3 prawns into 12 pieces Only good part was wait staff was froendly but food wise 0/10
This place needs reservation, but do allow walk ins if the place is not crowded. The ambiance is good, it's vibe always us to spend some more time there. The food selection is good. I had thai prawns, it was cooked to a tender meat, it was mouth watering. The quantity was less though :) Then had ordered Asian beef, this was also heavenly . A must try try dish at SEA. The cutlery gives a different vibe to the restaurant. The candle lights gives a good feel.
What a great experience we had in Mojigao. I am still in awe of that place. Totally loved the ambience and vibes of the place. Me and my husband had one of the most relaxing spa session over there. I would love to thanks Michelle Ma'am and her entire
