SDR Restaurant and cafe - Restaurant in Thoothukudi - Tuticorin, India

Decent restaurant with proper parking. But food are not in 5star tasty. Not impressed much with the restaurant. Most of the items in menu were not available.. especially Naattu Koli, Nethili fish. Veg meals is 175 Rs but not worthy. Even a pickle not served. Fish curry & rasam are ok. More(Butter milk) is more diluted Please don't order prwan pepper fry. Damn worst.

Worst experience...spoilt the mood of a family lunch... Worst service ever...they are not fit to manage the crowd... We 7 people, Ordered nonveg meal, they served kootu. Poriyal and we waited 15min to serve rice and chicken curry... Asked to give rasam and again waited more than 10min to be served...then asked curd.. ofcourse remained the waiter multiple times, but no use...we had to wait min 10minitues. Usually when you order meals, they should provide all dishes in small bowl,so it will be easy for people to continue the food...but they intentionally not giving everything unless you ask. Infact for sweet also (included in the meal) we asked and waited more than 5min to be served... @SDR management, don't you feel ashamed to get full bill amount for the meal and serving only after asking the sweet?.. ( unless I don't ask you would not serve the sweet, curd?).. damn. We also ordered briyani, but they were not serving Onion Raitha until we asked.. Very bad experience Top of that we ordered carrot halwa(only this was delicious).. but waited more than 15min to get it..

Cost of the food is high but the quantity as well as taste is not good so... Chicken lolipop is poor taste

This ambiance is one of the best in Thoothukudi. But ambience alone doesn't satisfy your appetite. The food is a little overpriced for its taste. Ordered butter chicken with naan. The butter chicken tasted very poor, like they've wrongly named it. Tandoori was good, in-house made fish fingers are good. But the price for this taste doesn't fulfill your happy dinner/lunch.

Reasonable price for the customers. Nice ambience. From my point of view, the Average spending amount for a good meal per person is around 500 rupees. Try the following @SDR, crab lollipop ( only 4 pieces ) Prawn 65 Rabbit masala Pepper chicken ( very spicy )

One of best resturant, went late around 3 in afternoon. Few dish got over better go early to try out all food varieties

Very good non veg food u can find it here, veg is average though, still can give it a try for change to ur taste buds. Service is OK, location is also very nice as its on the main road with plenty of parking space for four wheelers. Overall a very good restaurant in tuti.

Best place to have a good meal with family or friends. Neat and clean place with nice ambience. All staffs are well behaved. The quality of food was also top notch. This place also has an ample amount of car and bike parking.
