Sd Temple House(villa) - Resort hotel in Kumbakonam, Thirumangalagudi - Thanjavur, India

The room was ok, but they said one villa rent 2500 first, after vacating time they said 2800 extra amount was GST, that 300 amount dussan matter, but not maintain proper room tarrif

I was skeptical before visiting this place after seeing many negative reviews. I visited this place in the month of June and it's a very decent place to stay. I took an AC room for three and the room was very neat. The bedsheets and blankets were very neatly arranged. The bathroom was also clean. You will get hot water in the morning. However, there is no restaurant inside the hotel. You will find a few outside but not of the best quality. There is a mess exactly opposite to this place which is okayish not bad, not great either. You will have to go near the railway station to find good restaurants. You can even try Swiggy. You get drinking water here but I would recommend you buy water bottles from outside. There are no great hotels in this area and this is definitely a good place to stay if you are planning to visit the nearby temples.

Very worst service i have never seen. Still the payment received they are acting so nicely. I came there for an temple tour and i booked room but the service from your side is very bad. No maintenance has been seen and very rude behavior. I have seen lot of negative reviews but still i saw the ambience in picture and trusted. The poor service has been experienced. After that i shifted dharani lodge(thirumanthirai) that was an average type but service was too nice. Don't cheat try to change ur service.

Very comfortable stay for family.The rooms are very clean. But the room services need to improve. The villa allowed for 5 maximum members only. more then 5 need to pay extra amount. Hot water available and drinking water not inside the room.

Not a posh place to stay. But no big disappointment either. No restaurant available. But can have coffee or tea in the morning. Rent is reasonable. Best suitable for group or family stay.

Very poor service. Booked a room for my entire family. We reached around 12am and we kept calling the reception for check in multiple times an they didn't attend the call nor where they apologetic for making all of us wait. Their behaviour was unacceptable. The rooms and bedsheets were not clean as well!

The external appearance of the hotel was good But inside room not clean at all. There was no service provided in the hotel. Frequent power cut in night UPS not working and they will not use generator, they kept the generator for just showcase. They treated like we staying for free. Very worst experience. If you want to stay please stay nearby town don't ever choose hotels nearby temples.

This is the worst hotel, when me made reservation and reach the hotel on midnight that no-one will pickup the phone and we have waited for for one hour with my family, In the midnight we have to search for the new hotel, Next day morning from the hotel call and shouting for not checking in, not even checked the missed call
