SCIENCE MUSEUM, Khanapara Guwahati - Science museum in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Many new things have been installed here. It is a nice place for family outings, for kids to play and learn new things. Some of the instruments doesn't work. The outside play area is big and kids enjoy a lot. Though I would like to beseech the management to take care of the washrooms. Since people spend a lot of time here, they are bound to use the toilet. So kindly keep it clean. The food in the canteen was good.

many things are available to explore and learn for students specially.... for children there are many options... you can visit the place with friends as well as family... there are some 3D and 5D shows which are in very reasonable price .. stay till 6 pm and explore the whole museum... i will definitely visit again

November 08, 2023 *Regional Science Centre, Guwahati*, Jawharnagar, Khanapara is an activity driven non formal science education destination for all spectrums of population. Here science comes alive with a vibrant science park with an adjacent Prehistoric park,3D science movies, science shows. The indoor and outdoor expositions like the mirror magic, Fun science, Children's corner, Butterfly corner, large aquarium, and many more offer you an experience based science education in a never before way.

Had a fun day at the science museum with my parents despite me not being a kid, there is so much to explore and let the kid in you come out and enjoy. There is play area, theoretical science display, experimental display with lots of sound and mirror experiments, aquariums, pre- historic life park, butterfly house, a park to play in, Botanical garden...the science enthusiasts definitely enjoyed and it made me relive my journey with science so far.

For kids and Families you can go there, it's a good place to have fun with some education. But there's a problem, no AC and inside it's too suffocating along with washrooms that were not cleaned. Also should be more experimental, some objects are damaged and authorities should take proper care.

For the first time i had visited this museum in the year of 2017, at that time i was very curious and excited to visit this museum once... I can say this is a heaven for the science lovers who loves to do different experiments.. Every single thing is well defined and clearly explain the reason behind the science... And for the second time i visited in 2023... And i found numerous changes.... And become more exciting.... You must visit once to gather some scientific knowledge.

The place is very good with various attractive scientific activities. Specially for the kids, the place is very loveable and also for the adult this venue is a learning hub.
