Schezwan Xpress - Chinese restaurant in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

We were having a hard time finding non veg in Udaipur then we searched for a restaurant from Google and got this place. We came and we didn't expect much but were tired from all the walking and sightseeing so we went upstairs for a floor seating arrangement. You can't believe the comfy feeling we experienced, it was like coming back home. Then one boy, the server brought us some fried noodles, fried pakora and schezwan sauce as a welcome gesture. We took our time ordering as we were tired but he didn't hurry us. He slowly took note of our orders. Then the hot and sour and mushroom soup came first. It was soo yummy that we enjoyed it as if that was our last meal on earth jokes apart. It was really good. Then our fried rice and chicken chilly came and we didn't leave anything behind. We ate everything. We wanted to order more but the serving was generous so we didn't. We will be going again and order other items on the menu from this place on our next visit with friends and family. I definitely recommend this place for some yummy Chinese food. Best place to have Chinese in Udaipur, very reasonable price and good sitting arrangement

This is a Chinese restaurant with two types of seating arrangements either you can take a table on the ground floor or an on the floor sitting of mattresses on the first floor. I recommend the former because of the rodents I experienced during my visit. However when it comes to the food and the staff it is really good. The vibe is cool and happening. Recommendation: lamda paneer and schezwan ..also you will get complementary manchurian balls and fried noodles...

I had been there a few months back but now getting time to review it so I am still forgetting the exact name of the dishes sharing the pictures here. But it was a haka noodle with omelette on top and of course chicken fried rice. The staff provide some crunchy and spicy starters until the food is ready. Overall it was really a good experience as if you want to try Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices for regular visit to Udaipur, this will be one of your options.

Came here because the place was high on recommendations for Chinese food. And the reviews are right. The food is good. I ordered the Paneer streamed momos and the Veggie Sizzlers. Loved both of them. The fumes and the sizzles on the Sizzler was quite less. And I liked it. The fumes usually makes me cough. Two things that stood out for me. First thing. Lightening fast service. They served food in like 10 mins of my order. Second thing, they brings some fried noodles with a spicy chutney to nibble on before our food comes. Very thoughtful. Highly recommend this place for Chinese food.

Spicy Indian Chinese at its best. Amazing and friendly staff. Good food.

I recently dined at Schezwan Xpress, a Chinese restaurant and a branch of China Town, known for serving both veg and non-veg dishes unlike the vegetarian-only China Town. My experience was a bit mixed :- The Paneer Lamba dish didn't impress me (China Town serves it better), but the Fried Rice with Manchurian Combo was delightful. The Honey Chilly Potato was average, while the Sweet Corn Soup, Manchow Soup, and Hot and Sour Soup were all quite good. If you're vegetarian, I'd still recommend China Town, but non-veg options at Schezwan Xpress might be worth a try that I don't know as I'm vegetarian.
