This place is situated at Kendatti, near Kolar, a little further away from Narsapura. Cross the KR puram bridge and take the Bangalore -Tirupathi highway. The road is absolutely well maintained with multiple lanes. Do watch your speeds because I saw plenty of unfortunate dogs that were roadkill. This place is about 1.5kms from the highway. A stony, kaccha road leads to the quarry. When I visited during July 2023, it drizzled lightly on the way and the weather was extremely windy and cloudy. Just perfect for a place like that. I visited on a Friday and there wasn't a single soul around except for the howling of the wind and the distant cries of peacocks. There was plenty of water in the quarry as well. Please don't stand at the edge to take photos. The rocks are uneven and one trip and it'll be lights out. Safety is another concern. Quarries are notoriously known for harbouring rowdy gangs so please make sure you visit this place during weekends and you have some company with you. Otherwise, it's a nice scenic spot for some good chill time and photos. As usual, please don't litter!
It's just an old and abondoned quarry which the localities have restricted the people from entering. You can just watch it from above and it's better not to go close as the rocks are not stiff and the quarry is very deep and filled with rocks. The localites have reported that more than 5-8 deaths have taken place there. Not recommended to visit as the roads are also not proper from the highway. You can park the vehicle near the highway and take a walk.
Good place to spend early mornings. Best timing would be 6am-8am only. After that temperature increases due to rocks around. Since it's a quarry, you can feel the heat more after 9am. So visit as early as possible. We reached by 6:45am. It was good - Machine Diaries
Scenic place with restricted access. The trail is fun on motorcycle. Loved every bit of the ride
Famously known as 'Chota Ladakh', this place is superb to spend a day, especially in the rains. This place is approximately 60 Kms from Whitefield and I would suggest you take a mat/table and some food to have a picnic here. We took something to drink and spent a good 1-1.5 hours there.
It's nice weekend gateway! Spend an hour there with sunlight and enjoyed the beauty of the lake on rock. So clean water. We have taken lots of photographs. Also the place you gets nothing other than the beauty of the nature.it!
Firstly, hard to find the location. Not so safe for couples or solo riders. Place is not that great. However, quiet photogenic place. Small off road patch for bike riders.
Good scenic place to spend a few hours. Not much available at site so better carry ur necessities. Ask people for direction along with google directions to take the right turns. Avoid hot and too sunny weather.
A place to visit and relax if you love peace away from the city hustle bustle. Visited this place unexpectedly on the way to Kolar. Beware of the locals who try to make some money off u. Smile, play a bit with the children and speak something in kann
This place is called chota ladakh on google maps and it's a big quarry fillled with water. Scenic place it is. Can spend a couple of hours either to see the sunset or sunrise. It's on the Bengaluru Kolar highway. Need to take a small stretch from wit
