Very bad and unorganised bus terminus located near haldia township. All sbstc buses and local buses started from this place. Online bus ticket booking recommend rather an on the spot booking.
The place hard to reach,has no proper terminus, gets very ugly during rainy season, has no maintainace washroom, one can easily get sick. Very limited options of getting a meal nearby. Difficult transport means of connection with the city.
It's a disgusting and rancid place, strongly recommend to arrive ON time and NEVER before, as there is no place to wait, and the place stinks and is very unhygienic to spend time in. Just come here, pray your bus is here, sit in your bus, pray your bus leaves soon. DON'T even dare to think about using the toilet there.
Bus service is very good. Always on time. Buses are available. Beautification is going on. But need a public toilet. Renovation process is going on. Let's see how beautiful it looks. The worst thing is that, ticket counter was closed for last 2 months.
Buses are available from Haldia to KOLKATA, MECHEDA, KOLAGHAT. SBSTC BOOKING COUNTER ALSO THERE FOR ADVANCE BOOKINGS (white colour room is the booking office )...
Terminus hub verry small , some time faces times without electricity, but they are very punctual.. Friendly and Helpful. Services are often Good... They give the value of time
The bus stop was very dusty and that's why the buses standing there were also dusty. The ticket counter is located at one end. It is a single window ticket counter. Max 2-3 people can stand. Infrastructure is poor and needs to improve. The guy sitting at the counter was polite and buses run on time.
SBSTC Haldia depot bus terminal, single window ticket counter presently fulfilling demand of public. But infrastructure is not up to mark. Maximum two passengers can stand inside or in front of counter. Very difficult to use during rain. Need development.
