Asansol Bus Stand unfortunately leaves much to be desired. The place is marred by cleanliness issues and severe pollution, making it an unpleasant environment for commuters. The open sale of tobacco, pan masala, and gutkha is not only unsightly but also poses health hazards to the public. Moreover, the unclean toilets add to the discomfort. The government should take swift action to address these problems and bring about positive changes to improve the overall experience for travelers and the community.
Since it serves Asansol- an important industrial hub and the 2nd largest city of West Bengal, it needs to be more ornate, spacious, hi-tech and smart. There are a lot of buses that ply from Hutton Road bus stand, but it looks just as any other big bus stops (Bankura,Garhbeta,Midnpore,Durgapur Station,etc).

The behaviour of staffs are polite. Bus service is also good. It needs INR 175 & INR 170 for Karunamoyee & Esplanade respectively. The major concern is condition of buses.

Located in city bus terminal, approach tothe counter is very unhygienic and risky as no proper approach basement available. Difficult to stand and reserve tickets, no proper sheds available. Staffs are very reluctant not interested to answer your questions, mostly provide you bus seats as per their convenience, some time provide you wrong reservations, not responding on phones. Try to avoid and book ticks from online platforms.
