Went with family (13 members) for 2 nights. Hardly a minute walk to beach from hotel. Restaurants are also nearby. Staff is very helpful and we all loved our staycation in Sawali Niwas.
Best experience at Murud. Location is very close to beach good. Murud beach is just walking 2-3 min. We stayed in family room and room was very spacious as well as clean. Staff was very helpful. It was best Location in Murud with very affordable price.
We had good stay at Sawali Niwas. They have neat and clean rooms and its just 2 minutes walk to beach. The owners are very kind and helpful... they went out of the way to help us arrange for ekadashi food. Would definately recommend to try it.
Rooms are clean, they do not have their own kitchen.. so you got to order a bit prior... the problem is they are so new to this that they didnt even accomodate a simple request for bread and butter which could be arranged in less than 5 mins..
The owner was quite stubborn at ybe pricing since i asked him that if there were no bookings for the following day if he would let us extend... to which he offered us the same room at a higher price than what we had got a day prior... there is a lot of scope of improvement for vishwanath who is the owner ... because i only heard No's
The rooms are spacious, well equipped, clean and have ample of sunlight. It is 1 minute walk away from the beach. Convenient to travel from various places as the bus stops are nearer too. Service is quick and very good. Very polite and keen to help.
Value for money. Rooms were clean. Linens good. Owner stays on ground floor and rooms are on upper floor. Owner is polite and co-operative. He provided all services we asked for. Home made food could be available on demand and pre-order. We took only coffee in the morning and found it to be of good quality.
Excellent Location. Proximate to Murud Janjira Beach. Hospitality is very nice. Rooms are clean, equipped with basic amenities and attached balcony with roadside view is an added positive. Highly recommended. Special mention for Sagar for his quick response and suggestions to any of your queries. A water bottle per room could have been a only suggestion. But I m sure they will be adding it very soon.
Booked the room just two days before arrival. Sagar, the owner, was really helpful in the booking process and he accepted our request for late checkout, it is really appreciated. The hotel had excellent location and parking facilities. The room, however, could've been more clean.
Still, it's a great value for money. Highly recommended for travellers

Calm sea with lots of water activities starting from Rs300 to Rs600 per person.
But the beach is full of wet sand and you cannot find any dry sand patch, so no point in bringing sand toys for kids.
