Very very disappointing. Quality of the fabric and products like purse, shoes everything is questionable. Vendors were selling kurti s for 150rs to 200rs.but the quality of the febric was very very poor. No new collection in the shops as well. But still for cheap shopping this market is an good option. I would suggest explore nadco market in Andheri as well. There is P. P MITHAIWALA near by to natraj market. Do visit there for jalebi, wada pav, indian sweets like kalakand, boondi, peda, ras malai and munchies like khakra, phaapda, khandvi, variety of dhokla, There is pani puri counter as well n sandwich s too. Last but no the least u can eat ice cream, rabdi too.
Natraj market is right out side Malad station on the west side. It's a very huge market with lot of options right from home appliances, to apparel, to daily requirements, upholstery, etc. It also has a small jewellery market connected to it. So you can pick up jewellery as well. Don't expect a Tanishq or a Malabar styles. There is fruit and vegetable market as well close to the area. Once you step into this place you can come back home doing your complete home shopping. It does get a bit claustrophobic since the shops are in quite a narrow lane for people to pass through each other. If you end up buying from a shop do take a card from them as you tend to get lost in the make as the lanes look alike (you'll understand what I mean, when you see the picture) They do not sell any major brands, but are more of the locals ones. Mind it the place is perpetually crowded due to the bus station and on going traffic. One looses it's Kool due to constant honking and bottle necks. Advice, take an auto or bus to Malad station. The market is closed on one of the weekdays (not sure if it is Thursday) you may want to check before you visit Sunday's it's up and working and crowded than normal days. You have a lot of options for women attire and kids clothing at Natraj market. It surely is a nice place to shop for the localites and middle class families.
Thus market is us malad west, it is 3mins walking from Malad station, here one may get lots of varieties in traditional wear, and here there are jewelry which one may wear for weddings, there are cholis, ghagras, gowns, saares and other lot of accessories.
It is a huge market with variety of things available from clothes to lingerie to indian wear nd western wear shoes accesories fast food shops hand bags jewellery boxes 3 in 1 purses toys. It is situated near malad station in the west easily accessible through the local railway of mumbai . Also try nd bargain as people here are willing to bargain nd will agree eventually i bought amazing pair of denim shoes nd flats for 200 and 150 respectively which is very less nd affordable . One should definately visit this market
Natraj market at malad is known for artifial jewelleries, marriage dresses, lahanga, sarees. A lot of outlets available and lot of different varieties is also there in single. Just outside this market street shops are also there for footwears.
Natraj market is about 5 to 6 decades older and is a regular shopping market with some specialities, a shopping destination of locals staying in and around Malad and higher middle class people of Mumbai. With close proximity to Malad Station, Natraj Market has always been first choice when it comes to shopping cosmetics, Punjabi salwar kameez, Dress Materials, Saree, Kids wear, Imitation jewellery and more . The building is partially a residential complex with ground floor completely occupied as commercial shops. Amongst all the other shopping products, Sarees and cosmetics are what one can find in the most varieties which is why Natraj Market is famous for all the trendy stuff with good rates. One of the good things about this market is that there are around 5 to 7 entry and exit points with lots of zig zag turns at every corner of shops which helps buyers to hangout and do window shopping if not purchasing to see all latest available products in market which are shown in transparent glass display. Being famous but very old, natraj market do have some cons, the walk able gulli (lanes) inside are very narrow so need to take care while walking or chances are you will dash someone very easily. Another thing to be noted is that natraj is not centrally air conditioned, every shop has its own air conditioned installed and few even don't, so the shopping experience during summer will not be so happy. When it comes to toilet facilities it does have but don't expect something that you see inside malls.
You can get beautiful traditional ware with reasonable price ..I like to shop kurtis from there . There are very few shops where you can get western clothes .
You can find everything from dresses to sarees and all kinds of jewellery at wholesale price. Also a huge range of styles can be found here in various shops. You wont even need to bargain.
Brough a large tote and a purse for a good discounted price . Esbeda bags are of very good quality and with the discounts they are pretty reasonable. Also the staff guy is good and does his job of sales very well . Would definitely recommend anyone
