Staff needs a lot of improvement, Place is cozy somehow. Menu a little above the expected standards. No rice item is still a hard hit.

This point was directed by my better half and both went there to have a taste of it. The core of the room was lit but disheartened when the service starts. We sat there and were welcome by a mineral water bottle and two leaked disposal glass. I thought of complaining but i thought sometimes happen so I ignore that but still the staffs understanding was not there and the quality of food is not that ethical... Sorry to say this but that's what, Me and my better half experienced it. You guys can go and check it out

I was truely saddened and embarrassed to death by the chefs by what they prepared for us and the hospitality given by the waiters or cashier's to us. I have been there to this place with my friends before back then everything was fine. The food, the hospitality it was OK. One of my friends was on a cavay she said she was hungry for burger one afternoon so I decided to take her out to savor. The burger was lacking behind on so many levels. The buns was from local dukans I could tell it from the looks with just one lettuce leave, the beef doesn't tasted like beef it tasted like different meat. Was I tricked?? the salad part was the worst with just one slice of tomato, onion and cucumber. It was not crunchy as well. For the whole one burger they charged 250 which I think is to much from worth it for the price as compared to the burger I was served. Leaving the place I had to complained at the counter and they didn't even feel sorry, they didn't even listened to my complained and didn't even apologize for it.

"Buckle up, folks! There's a new restaurant in town--Savor--and it's smashingly beautiful. You'll find it in the lane that connects Konung Mamaang with Wangkhei-Kongba main road, opposite Govindajee Temple, under Pioneer School. There's also a gym nearby, whose name escapes me at the moment, but my main point is, Wangkhei now has a solid alternative to Hot Pot, the only other decent restaurant in the area. Savor opened just yesterday. From the outside, the place looks deceptively small. The white wooden doors and the pale grey window panels together make an elegant, welcoming facade. The interior design of the place is going to surprise you, though. We walked into what appeared to be a smallish cafe, then found three other sections with completely distinct aesthetics: a dining area in trendy dark grey walks and modernistic black furniture, a wooden stairway leading to an upper level of wooden flooring and retro traditional cane furniture (we absolutely adored the use of repurposed leftover wood--you'll see it in the pictures), and a semi-separate balcony cafe that was simplistic yet chic, and also perfect for those who prefer to have their coffee outside, in the company of fresh air. Four different personalities rolled into the same restaurant. We were served chicken nuggets, French fries, momo, chicken lollipops, spicy chicken wings, chicken chili (boneless dry) and salad--that was barely half of the menu included on opening day. We had to leave early and miss the other appetisers and the main course: the fried rice, gravy, hakka noodles, stir fried veg in oyster sauce, garlic pork fry, etc., so my review will cover only what we ate. The steamed momo was somewhat oily and can be definitely improved upon, though I feel that's a matter of preference. Some people like a little richness in their dumplings; I don't, which is why I try to avoid ordering momos at restaurants and eat them at roadside stalls/sellers instead. The salad we had needed more ingredients and a better dressing. I say that with a minor disclaimer: it might have been something prepared just for the inauguration, and not what will eventually end up on the menu. However, we were impressed by the lollipops, wings, and chicken chili. These commonplace sounding items, which you can get in almost any other eatery in town--whether it be high end restaurants or food trucks--are usually not done right. Lollipops and wings tend to be over-fried and hard. Chicken chili often oozes with oil and the sweetness of tomato. Savor's chefs somehow managed to keep the crust of the lollipops crisp and the inner meat tender, and the skins of the wings soft. The chicken chili just melts into your mouth. Judging by how well these were done, I can say it is safe to assume the rest will definitely be worth your money. Another plus point: they have their own sauces. Manufactured sauces and ketchups are a pet peeve of mine. Any self-respecting chef should be able to stir up their own chili sauce :p Since Savor is in its nascent stage, their current menu consists of Chinese, basic appetisers, and beverages. In the near future, they will be including Continental as well as Indian. It's a promising place, a fantastic addition to the restaurant boom, easy to find with good parking space, with an energetic and eager to learn owner at the helm. If you are looking for a place to chill during the upcoming Sangai Fest, this could just be the perfect option." Lovely place with great food and great owners. I had the pork and came back for it again the day after.

Chips and salsa was a joke ! Steak - Awesome Ambient - Staff - need lots of improvement.
