Savanadurga Fort - Tourist attraction in Savanadurga State Forest - default, India

The view is breathtaking once you finish the trek. We started early in the morning around 4 and reached the top by 5 to view sunrise. Trekking shoes is a must. The Mountain is steep and little slippery because of water here and there so make sure to climb very carefully. Grip is very important. Do carry torch if you are attempting before sunrise and preferably go in a group not alone.

Takes almost 3-4 hours to climb .

Very Underrated hike. Good shoes are a need, follow the white arrows moderate level hike, definitely a sunrise hike, reach the start point by 5 am to get the best out of it.

This hill hike is the best, not too hard not easy, 100% enjoyable, come with friends/family, group hike is fun. Few danger spots are there be careful, carry enough water, At the peak there is bull mantapa, there are no safety girdles at any peaks proper care should be taken if you go with kids. I saw few youngsters climbing above rock mantapas for photos, Our ancestors built such structures with huge effort, we have to protect the monuments/structures on hill top. Please don't litter around

A wonderful place for trekking around Bengaluru, need to plan for early start. The place is free for trekking. It's advised to have a trekking footwear. People with own vehicles can use the parking lot in front of the temple. Carry water to keep yourself hydrated during climbing. If you forget to carry water.. be ready to pay double or triple the price to local shops there. Once you reach the top.... Sit back & enjoy the beauty of a nature. Lastly, ENJOY the NATURE & KEEP THE GREENERY AS IS FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. DO NOT LITTER WITH PLASTIC PLEASE.

The best place for Trekking around Bengaluru. This place was free for Trekking but now one who is travelling has to book online on the website Karnataka Tourism. While climbing up for staying hydrated carry your own water bottles and some locals have placed their own shops one the way while climbing but they charge more than the MRP price for water bottles or any other beverages. It will take around 2 hours to reach the top.

First of all there is no ticket needed no one going to check. We purchased but not of any use. Intermediate trek take some first aid we saw incidents. And be careful trekker

It's moderate to difficult hike, few rocky stretches are too steep and no support you should be really careful and wear proper footwear having good grip and stretchable clothes, climbing down is More trickier than climbing up Carry enough water though there are shops selling but why add more plastic waste Once you reach top view is amazing and cool heavy wind will make you forget all the paint it took climbing
